I concur with all the other commentators. This company KitchenAid has gone down the proverbial drain. Quality has fallen obvious use of cheap plastic parts on a premium priced appliance.Horrible customer service long wait times on phone to get to a completely disinterested and rude agent we are walking away from this brand permanently!!

Subpar Quality and High Prices

The quality has been disappointing, especially given the high prices. What was once a reputable brand now offers poorly made products. I received three defective exhaust hoods, and my $4,000 fridge had a dead compressor within a year. Additionally, the $7,000 stove had issues as well. We feel exploited by these inferior appliances.

Received a Faulty Stand Mixer

I got a stand mixer for Christmas 2024, and after using it about 12 times for simple tasks, it stalled and started smoking shortly after Christmas 2025. It cost over $300, and I had expected better reliability. When I called for support, I was told that the one-year warranty had expired just four days ago, so they couldn’t help. The representative mentioned that their countertop appliances wear out quickly if not used frequently, which is frustrating. I will be advising friends and family against this brand due to my poor experience.

Frustrating Customer Service Experience

My microwave, oven, and warmer suddenly stopped working. I tried to contact support multiple times but was just transferred around without any resolution. After nearly two weeks, I finally got a repair appointment. On the day of the visit, the time window changed without notice, and I was left waiting all day. Despite taking time off work, I received no updates. This experience has been very frustrating, and I'm left without essential appliances for almost three weeks.

Very Disappointing Appliance

I am very disappointed with my range, purchased in 2019. It has broken down multiple times, requiring significant repairs, including two motherboard replacements. Now, the oven isn’t working correctly, and the door hinge is broken. Should a $4,000 stove fail like this after just six years? This has been a frustrating experience.

Avoid This Brand at All Costs

Avoid this brand at all costs. I bought a hood fan over a year ago but couldn’t install it until now. Upon installation, I noticed a manufacturing defect—the logo was upside down. Despite multiple calls explaining the situation, I was told it was out of warranty. After much effort, the supervisor offered a small part for free, but only if I used their installers at a high cost. This company clearly doesn’t value its customers and is more focused on profit than quality.

Severely Disappointed with the Range

I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service and the quality of my range, which is less than four years old. As a semi-professional baker, I need reliable equipment, but I have encountered two major issues. Now, I face a hefty repair bill. The company’s solution was to offer me a discount on a new range, which is absurd. I will not be recommending this brand to anyone.

Buyer Beware of Quality Issues

Buyer beware! I had a terrible experience with a high-end range. After two years, the knobs fell apart and caused injuries. Although they acknowledged this was abnormal and replaced the range, the new one had control panel issues, posing a fire hazard. They refused to admit these problems were not normal and tried to sell me a warranty instead. This brand has significantly declined in quality, and I will be seeking legal action.

Excessively Priced Low Quality

Excessively priced low quality; this brand was once good, but now it feels like poorly assembled products with no reliability. I received three exhaust hoods, as two were defective yet still shipped. The $4,000 fridge had a dead compressor after just a year, and the dishwasher leaked right out of the box. The $7,000 stove also had a faulty gas valve. We're left with subpar appliances and feel completely taken advantage of.
