Miscommunication causing inconvenience

20 NovSecond update: I had the excellent John and Dillon in today to help. After a shaky start to to process in October, these two gents blitzed pleasantly and efficiently through the work. I really appreciated their help. At this point, yes would recommend. Once I crack into the attic of the old house I bought I may need them back again. 3O octUpdate on this review; I was promised a call this morning to see if this can be resolved. Call came promptly as promised and was offered €100 off service. Hope to be booked in , team to confirm. 16 OctReally bad service ! I was booked in for 16th October. I rang the day before and they said I was booked in for the 30th. I rang on the 29th and was assured I was booked in, drove 2 hours to my new house , rang again to confirm time to be told I was booked in for 11th November. This was a day I had to book off work and has turned into a waste of time for me. I’ve requested a refund. I’m very disappointed because I really needed your help. If you meant to turn this around please call me on number on file ending 8295 and follow through. Joanne.

I got text about collecting time and…

I got text about collecting time and date. After that someone had called me and give exactly time of collection. When they arrived, they collected my sofa bed very quickly. It was great experience.

Ordered a collection on Monday

Ordered a collection on Monday. They confirmed collection on Tuesday. We were advised we would get a text in the morning and then a call 45 minutes before the collection team arrived. No monring text, but, received a phone call 30 minutes prior. Very efficient, and quick to remove a 3 piece corner sofa. Also, reasonable price at €130. Very pleased - would recommend and use again myself. Thanks!

HIghly Recommend Kollect

I recently cleared out my Family home as you can imagine there was ears and years of memorabilia and stuff collected. I would highly recommend Kollect, I booked them several times over last few months. I found Liam, Dylan and lads brilliant pleasant and so so helpful, kind and compassionate, they went above and beyond to be so helpful. I found booking with Kollect no problem at all, Valerie was the most pleasant, helpful lady to deal with, there never was a problem booking, always a prompt reply. I even was able to book from overseas, which was so so helpful. I cannot recommend them highly enough, they are brilliant.

Update:After the below Tara from Kollect got in touch late Friday evening and has gone above & beyond, organised an appropriate skip and adjusted the delivery date after a late change on my end - very impressed with the manner at which this complaint was handled & resolved - it’s been very much appreciated. —Really poor experience all round - initially had a call after filling out a form on the website from a Dublin number, from someone with a American or Canadian accent, then they shared their details with me over WhatsApp and it was a Filipino number a which raised my suspicions further. After a week or so I decided to go ahead with the quote which the sales rep was more than happy to get in touch asap, €240 paid for in full, due to be delivered on Thursday, never arrived & no communication from anyone after I arranged to work from home, I messaged who had processed my order and got ignored.. Friday, same thing, messaged, then got a call saying “oh did they not deliver it, I’ll escalate this to the team”, heard nothing back for 3 hours after I had text’d twice more to check in as I needed the skip for the weekend as I had already paid a deposit for removal services on Saturday, then get a reply saying “I’ve been very busy, on back to back calls, now I’m off, please call the office” - abysmal service - rang the office to which I spoke to a pleasant girl however she was aware of the missed delivery so I’m a bit confused as to why I didn’t receive any proactive updates, I was offered a full refund & a future better price but it’s little too late, I’m already down €100 - will not be using this service in the future after this experience. Advice would be it’s little more than common courtesy to update your customers, quite a basic expectation and if that’s not possible your bar is pretty low.
