AVOID!

AVOID!! AVOID!! lamps modern uk ??? Not uk based at all , chinese company, so takes ages to get delivered, the quality is that cheap and poor , id be terrified to wire it to live wires ! Costomer service is terrible, hard to get a response, after days of not replying, and when they do , they do not address what my issue is.All I want is a return lable , I shouldn't be going round the houses to get this . They finally wrote an address in an email , so nothing that I could print off , just typed into an email , an address somewhere in China! So typing it rather then a print off is concerning in its self! I will send it and never hear anything again! , wouldn't be able to track its journey! So avoid this company, I will be calling trading standards

Beware

I am actually quite sad to write this review because the customer service I received when expressing my dissatisfaction was second to none. HOWEVER! I suspect that I was actually dealing with a bot programmed to offer discount after discount to keep their ‘goods’. That in itself should be a red flag for the next poor unsuspecting customer- they are very adept at dealing with complaints! The goods I received for my hard earned money were tat. I had no idea that I was dealing with a Chinese company when I ordered the lights or that I would be required to ship them back to China for a refund because they hide this information from the customer when the purchase is made. When I made that purchase, I was excited to receive it. I wanted them and wanted them to make my home look nicer - as they would have done had they been like they looked on the website. My advice for any other dissatisfied customers is to persist. Eventually (!) I was able to persuade them to allow me to dispose of the goods for a full refund and that refund arrived quickly. What a waste though! A waste of the material used to make the ‘goods’ that have cost the environment the transport from China to the Uk. Sorry to write this review but my conscience wouldn’t allow me not to forewarn other potential victims. BEWARE!!

Shockingly awful customer service

None delivery of order placed over a month ago, three emails and only one response that was very non committal to just say sent! I will be reporting to trading standards. Bunch of crooks.

We bought a lampshade from them quite a few months ago, the shipment was fast and easy with the glass fitting and lamp arriving intact.When I thought it couldn’t get any better, one of the builders unfortunately lost an item of the lamp when removing it to complete work. The customer service was incredible, they responded to my missing part request almost instantly and offered to ship out the new part, couldn’t recommend them more!

Total scam – they take your money and lie

ZERO STARSPlaced an order over two weeks ago and even paid extra for a shipping protection fee. Nothing has arrived. The company claims delivery “failed because the courier couldn’t reach me,” which is completely false — there was no delivery attempt at all.They sent me Royal Mail tracking numbers and told me to contact Royal Mail myself to collect the parcels. That’s not customer service — that’s them avoiding responsibility.They’ve taken over £100 of my money, done nothing to fix it, and continue to mislead customers by pretending to be a UK company while shipping everything from China.In the past week, I’ve also been contacted by scammers attempting to access my bank account, and I genuinely believe this is linked to using this company’s site — they clearly have my payment details. They have now been reported to a fraud investigation company.Avoid this company completely — it’s a scam.

Avoid, terrible quality overpriced

Bought X3 LED ceiling lamps 1 year ago, paid around £80 per lamp, super cheap quality, within 1 year 2 of the lights have broken. Cheap overpriced products stick to reputable brands like IKEA you can trust.

Very disappointed with the quality. Cheap tat.

Was very excited to put my new lights up. I have recently moved so they have sat in the box for a couple of months before we got around to it. I'm SO disappointed with the quality! I did not pay China/Temu price for it either! I have the 4 squares island light, each of the glass bits (chandelier style) are held with this cheap long metal bits, on the website pictures they show the lights from an angle where you can't see these, but in reality when placed on an island around which we sit around, all you can see when you look up is the awful, long bits of metal in every direction. I've seen better made lamps in poundland. Avoid, price does not match the quality and the website is made to look expensive, it's cheap rubbish from China. It took over a month to arrive too, in a bashed box.

Issues but excellent customer service

Bought a light from the company. First one arrived damaged but rhey immediately sent a replacement when notified.Have encountered an issue with the replacement but again, they have been quick to arrange a new one to replace that, so although there have been issues their communication has been quick and they have sorted the issue out quickly.

Unfortunately our light didn’t arrive…

Unfortunately our light didn’t arrive due to an issue with the delivery company, but lampsmodern have kindly agreed to refund the order. So far the customer service team have been very responsive at helping us to start the process of a refund.
