Review Time
I ordered a light fitting on 30/08. I’ve still not received it, the tracking number doesn’t work, I’ve e-mailed with no helpful response and now I’ve just received an e-mail asking for a review as it’s been a couple of weeks since I received the item!!! - I HAVENT RECIEVED ANYTHING! Don’t I feel silly as I usually check reviews for everything I buy online, but for some reason didn’t with this light fitting.I guess I’ll have to raise a dispute with ApplePay or my credit card company as it appears I’ve been scammed. Please be careful, this company (as I now see) are not from the UK at all and you won’t receive the goods.
While the customer service was polite and efficient, I can't say we're entirely happy with our products. The lights look lovely, but the packages arrived dented, and the product was disassembled. The instructions were absolutely useless. One of the lights had a dodgy wire which shorted our whole downstairs and we had to get an electrician in. We were offered a 15% refund once we'd written a review, as an apology.
Don’t be fooled by the glossy website and high prices this place is a drop shopping business from china. The products they advertise are nothing like what you receive and when you ask for your money back they insult you with offers of 10% refunds and ask you to ship the items back to china at a huge cost to you despite stating free returns when you initially buy. Have enlisted the help of my bank to retrieve my money on this occasion but will be taking them to small claims court if needs be. Appalling that in this day and age people can literally rob you and get away with it!
We ordered from Lampsmodern not realising it was a drop shipping Shopify site from China. The package arrived in around 7-9 days after our order which was fine however the quality of the light was shocking. It was nothing like the image and it was of such poor quality I had to email the company to ask for an immediate return and refund and awaiting feedback on this. Such a shame as was looking forward to this light arriving but it is just extremely poor quality.
I’m absolutely in love with my new ceiling light! From the moment it arrived, I could tell the quality was excellent, sturdy, well-made, and beautifully designed. Installation was super straightforward, and once it was up, it completely transformed the hall. The light it gives off is SO bright but warm, creating the perfect cozy atmosphere without being harsh.I’ve already had friends and family compliment it, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite features in my home. If you’re looking for a ceiling light that’s both stylish and functional, I couldn’t recommend this one enough!
