I ordered a year worth of Multifocal lenses from Lens.com as they appeared to have the cheapest prices. However, that is quite the opposite of what you pay which is the price before a rebate.
Why not just give the customer theafter rebate price that is advertised, without making customers return a rebate form.
I expected the rebate card to be automatically sent out after the order was completed and kept, not returned. I did not know I needed to contact lens.com to receive a letter that needed to be returned to receive my $100+ back. So apparently I missed out on my chance to get my money I'm rightfully due because it expired 8 days ago.
I wont order from Lens.com again and actually closed my account. I would rather give m y mone and my business to a company which has lower ricing upfront without making customers return a rebate form to get back their money.
They charge you an extra that you have to get back using a mail-in rebate. The rebate company is a 3rd party that will do whatever possible NOT to send your rebate back. It's a scam
Weeks after ordering my lenses I'm told they are not common and not stocked therefore they need to source from the vendor. This should have been apparent during the ordering phase.
Then they refuse to pick up the cost of expedited delivery.
A report had been filed with the TN Attorney General.
I interacted with a representative from the customer service team who efficiently adjusted my order to align with my prescription. They even contacted my eye doctor to update my prescription brand. The service was prompt and effective, and navigating the website was a breeze! Overall, I had a wonderful experience. While I've seen some concerns about the product on various forums, I will wait to see how it performs upon arrival. For now, it's within my budget, and I'm satisfied!
I wasn’t paying close attention while placing my order, as I only buy lenses annually. I missed the hidden fees that some sites add during checkout. They claim these fees (over $100) are reasonable, but why are they not imposed by other sites? Overall, the price I paid was fine, but I typically avoid businesses that operate like this. It feels unethical. Now, I'm waiting over 4 months for my rebate. Why is that? How much of the rebate do they retain for interest? It’s a questionable company that I would recommend others avoid. (By the way, they claim 100% customer satisfaction, but they selectively display reviews! Quite clever, right?)
