My experience as a black woman was not…

Location: NottinghamMy experience as a black woman was not good I was greeted at the front desk with hosility and one receptionist cut her eye at me, I had paid £122 for the night twin room, as I was visiting my son at university. It was appauling behaviour your reception staff will loss you money. It's our money that keeps the hotel going, even when we left in the morning I was given a bad look, it is racism. BLACK PEOPLE GO TO HOTELS! I have been left angry, ignorant STAFF.The room was nice, issues with a loud toilet and shower not strong enough. It would not stop me from going again because racists will never win!

Not for families

We were solda superior family room through OMG hotels. The Leonardo hotel in Birmingham does not have such a thing. We had a crammed room with two double beds, barely any space to walk around, two bedside tables, two lamps (4 people couldn't read at the same time) two water bottles and one towel. The hotel policy says only 3 people can book those rooms, however when we requested the manager to change, they said it was not possible.

We stayed at the hotel in Middlesbrough…

We stayed at the hotel in Middlesbrough and as soon as me and my friends walked through the door we got dirty looks from staff who demanded proof of identification as soon as we stepped in the door after we had a 6 hour journey then we got our room keys and they stopped working after the first time leaving the room the guy who was working at reception was sound tho 👌

I worked at the Leonardo hotel at Gateshead

I worked at the Leonardo hotel at Gateshead in February and had a great experience. I was there on business and the staff could not do more to be helpful and friendly. The reception staff were all excellent at their jobs and went out of their way to make my stay and the training I was attending went smoothly. I must mention Isabella and Ngan who were particularly friendly and helpful, many thanks to them and I look forward to my next visit.

Leeds - Room ok BUT

Room ok BUT, no hot water, no red wine? White wine, only 1 available, draught beer 2 available. No vegetarian options available at dinner and no veggie sausages available at bfst. Blood on one of the pillows. Not the standard I've experienced at other hotels in the brand.

Mostly good, ruined by one terrible member of staff.

Stayed recently for an awards night with EMRA racing. 99% of the staff were utterly amazing, kind courteous and competent. The main bar 'Triumph Bar' had a bar supervisor who wanted to close while there was still 40+ people in there drinking. The duty supervisor of the hotel agreed to extend this by 30 mins. Subsequently they mysteriously ran out of all mixers and common courtesy to customers. Not only that but the ability to treat their own staff with common decency. Duty manager was amazing, as were all of the other staff, Bar supervisor should probably look for work in another industry. To work in hospitality one should be at least a little hospitable.

Leonardo hotel Newcastle upon Tyne AVOID

Leonardo hotel Newcastle upon TyneRoom was OK. Bed a little lumpy. Had an evening meal in the hotel. What a mistake that was...it was dreadful. Poor choice of beers, as is usual for this type of hotel. Parking in the car park opposite. What a bloody fiasco. Had to wait in a que for over 40 mins. Only one car came out when they let three of us in. But there were loads of empty spaces with big red cones in them. What the hell is that about. Safe to say I will never go go to a Leonardo hotel again.

Leonardo Hotel Heathrow Airport, excellent choice.

Leonardo Hotel Heathrow Airport, UK. We stayed one night to travel the next day through the airport. It couldn't have been a better choice. The staff was very friendly, excellent service. At check-in they offered us options to get to the airport the next day, everything worked out fantastically. The option to book with breakfast was a great choice, a very good offer. Worth the money.
