LG are a benchmark in well intended but terrible customer service. I have been trying to log into my account for 4 weeks now and I phoned them for help and they keep sending the same email every 6 days , they ignore my replies and suggestions , now my brand new 100 inch TV not 2 weeks old is broken and I can't get them to arrange a repair , they give long winded explanations and insist I speak to the retailer who insists repairs are done by LG , I'd rather slit my wrists than be an LG customer .

Bought LG washing machine three months ago had an engineer out two weeks ago. This is my fourth week without a washing machine. Customer service is absolutely ridiculous. One customer service told me that my part was on order when I went higher up to speak to a manager, she read off the same card and then told me my part was ready. Not sure why this was as previously I was told the part wasn’t ordered, so I asked for an exchange or a refund and come and collect a washing machine. She also told me this would take 24 to 72 hours. I’ve always had Lg my last washing machine lasted me 13 years and for the price of the washing machine, you would like to think they would give a full refund or just swap like for like if I could give this no stars, I would as they don’t care as a company

Never again will I purchase from this brand.

I will not buy from this brand again; you would expect that after spending a significant amount on a high-end TV, it would function perfectly and come with top-notch support. I informed the support team about ongoing issues with their recent model, which have been acknowledged on various forums. Yet, they still refused to recognize the problems and provide a full refund. After multiple support tickets and calls over the course of a year, I have finally given up on their ineffective support team and will have to deal with a malfunctioning TV.

Frustrating Experience with Repair Service

I spent two hours and made five phone calls to report that my washing machine was broken. I was assured that my information would be forwarded to the repair team and that I would be contacted within 48 hours. Instead, it took a week for the engineer to reach out. When they finally did, I was informed that no engineers were available in my area for the foreseeable future, and they promised to call me back in 24 hours, which turned into another week. Throughout this ordeal, I kept reaching out to the support team but was making little progress. I considered contacting a local repair service, but they couldn't come out for three weeks just to diagnose the issue, and I would then have to wait for parts. This has been my third repair need in a year for this washing machine. I regret purchasing the extended warranty. I would strongly advise against buying this brand's appliances, as the support staff often struggle with English and are located abroad.

Purchased a washing machine that developed a significant issue.

I bought a direct drive washing machine that started leaking. Upon inspection, I discovered that one of the concrete counterbalance slabs was broken and in three separate pieces! The company claims their machines last 10 to 15 years. This is truly disappointing!

Frustrating Experience with Appliance Repair

In August 2025, we faced a persistent issue with our high-end dishwasher. To ensure there were no obvious problems, we hired a local handyman to inspect the plumbing at our own expense on Wednesday, 27 August. He reported no issues. We then scheduled a visit through the company for an engineer to fix the appliance. On Wednesday, 17 September, a technician arrived and spent about two hours dismantling the machine, but left without checking its condition, resulting in the same fault reappearing. Despite promises of follow-up, we received no communication. We set up another repair appointment for Wednesday, 24 September, where the same technician spent a few minutes looking at the machine, did nothing, and left. When we contacted the service the next day, we were informed there was a 'parts' issue, and again, no follow-up occurred. We arranged for another engineer visit on Friday, 17 October, but nobody showed up. Instead, we received a text at 12:29 on the day of the scheduled visit, notifying us that it had been rescheduled for Thursday, 23 October, a date we couldn't accommodate due to work commitments. We informed the company but never received a call back regarding a new date. Frustrated, we stopped reaching out to either the company or the service provider. In November 2025, the company finally agreed to refund us for the appliance, acknowledging their inability to fix it. They promised to contact us to arrange for the pickup, but now it’s December, and we have heard nothing. While the prospect of a full refund is relieving, we were informed that the process could take up to 45 days—over six weeks—for payment. Customer service? Clearly, they have no interest. It's been a terrible experience.

Frustrated, we stopped reaching out to both the company and the repair service. In November, they finally agreed to a full refund, acknowledging their inability to fix the appliance. They promised to arrange a pickup, but as of December, we have yet to hear back. While a refund is a relief, the bureaucratic process is painfully slow, potentially taking 45 days. Clearly, customer service is not a priority for them. They're disappointing.

Terrible experience with customer support

We purchased an American fridge/freezer with a 10-year warranty for the compressor. Five years later, the compressor failed, and the customer service was unhelpful, suggesting we seek local repairs while they would consider a refund only for the compressor. We opted against this since they had their own technicians. The customer service refused to honor the warranty, forcing us to buy a new appliance from a different brand.
