Review Time
These people are not qualified nurses or doctors. I had to call and actually remind the girl who was doing my treatment when my appointment was and make sure she’d be available. My appointment was then either pushed back or rescheduled because she had forgotten about me! This place is grossly overpriced. It is a huge ripoff! And after all this time they still aren’t bright enough to spell my name correctly.
I would prefer appointments that are done by the same person every time. I have a new person every appointment and I feel like they aren’t consistent with the area that’s supposed to be lasered. The main section I want is lasered but some ppl do my whole chin(right to left, up and down), others just do a portion of my chin (up and down). Other than that the service is nice, quick and clean.
I bought 6 treatments and only completed 1 in 2 plus months. Ahead of my 2nd appointment LightRX notified me that laser machine was broken and under repair and they will call me back to schedule appointment. They never called back. So essentially they took the 6 treatments package costs and never called back after 1 appointment. Is this their business model or they just don’t care enough for existing customers?
I love LightRx, their staff, their products, pretty much everything about them. My Skin is finally starting to look and feel so much better after they introduced me to Viva. I am less self conscience about my acne scaring on my back thanks to them. The Lipo and Legacy has done wonders for my tummy and extra skin. My stretchmarks are disappearing and I'm fitting into my clothes much better. They take the time to really figure out want you need and they work with you to help make it happen. While everyone on their team is amazing I have had the opportunity to know Lauren and Emi the most and honestly they have become family to me.
The Virginia Beach location is always behind schedule so you have to wait a while for your appointment. Also, I’d purchased a service and they allowed to me show up for my appointment without notifying me that the machine was down and not operating. Then once I changed my mind about the service, it took them over a month to refund the money and that was with me being persistent. I’m sure it would’ve taken 2 months or longer if I’d waited. I know this because half the the processing time was simply because the local office had forgotten about my refund and hadn’t made the request to corporate as a result. I also know it was pushed along because of my calls to corporate. It took a lot to get the funds back. And it wasn’t until the extreme delays that I was advised of a processing time that continuously changed. First it was 30-45 calendar days (after they were already behind), then 30-45 business days, then 30-60 days, then 30-65 days. Mind you there were stretches of time between each conversation and I was told something different every time. I was also told that the delay was caused because they only process refunds on Mondays however, when I spoke to the corporate office, they never heard of such a processing schedule. Also, there was one instance where I had a separate service done but asked about the refund once I was done. They advised that the manager on duty that day would speak with me and asked me to wait in the lobby. They advised her I was waiting, but she never came out of her office.The level of professionalism needs some serious work if they plan to make people comfortable with making large investments and trusting in their ability to deliver. Once I’m finished with the free prepaid services I yet to conclude, I’m never going back and I’m never recommending this location. It’s super embarrassing because initially I’d purchased services for other people as well but never again.
This place is my get a way and I love it! The ladies are amazing at everything they do and the clinical manager and assistant manager are top notch. On top of all that good is all the machines do amazing work. You will not be disappointed!!
