I have had a great experience at LightRX. The establishment is clean. All the Technicians are skilled and very professional! My treatments have been very effective! Highly recommended!
Horrible experience. Used a Groupon for Botox on 12/18/25 for forehead and elevens. Bought additional at full price while I was there for crows feet. Left with a HUGE hematoma on my left eye that lasted through Christmas. Felt while I was there that the botox was not done correctly, and I've had it enough times to know. That and I'm an RN formerly working in the industry in Florida, so I am well aware of what to expect. After one week, I knew it wasn't right. They asked me to wait a full two weeks. I did, and rescheduled to come back in. That appointment was cancelled by them, and rescheduled again for the end of January 2026. Why on earth why I go back to have my face abused again. Lesson is don't use Groupon there for one, and don't expect an experienced ARNP. I'm not given to posting bad reviews, but I spent $650 there, and had absolutely no results. It was as if I never had botox. By far the worst botox experience I've ever had in my life. Don't waste your money or time. BTW, they deleted the invite on Google to share a review. That should speak volumes.
I went in because I had a Groupon voucher for one service, they informed me that I will not see results with what I had. I let them talk me into upselling me to another machine which would supposedly bring more results ($2500). I was going pretty much once a week and I noticed that I was really a guinea pig. They were literally training new employees on how to perform this service. There were several communication flaws with this company in GCL-SC. They continuously want to up-sale which is to be expected in this line of business but to offer services then tell me that I wont see any results is insane. Don't offer the Groupon just to get people in the door if it doesn't work. I wish I would have read reviews prior to go in there. I definitely would NOT recommend this company to anyone for services. They also don't answer the phone to assist customers.
LightRx texted a one-day $9/unit Botox special yesterday for today 12/3. I’ve redeemed this same $9 special here before as a non-member, so I know it’s something they’ve honored in the past. I called ahead to confirm the price again, was told it applied to non-members, and booked an appointment.After driving 30 minutes in bad weather, I was told the price was actually $12/unit and the $9 rate was ‘for members only’—which is their everyday price, not a special. Even after I showed the text, they denied the promotion and tried to sell me a membership instead.They also deducted my Allē rewards despite providing no treatment, and I had to get the points reversed through Allē directly.Misleading promotion, inconsistent practices, and unprofessional handling. I would not recommend LightRx based on my experience. I purchased a procedure with the promise of results, but the treatments have not worked as I was told they would.On top of that, the customer service has been extremely disappointing. I had an appointment scheduled for August 22nd at 2:30 PM. Due to heavy traffic, I called ahead to let them know I would be about five minutes late. Instead of being understanding—especially since I am always early for my appointments—I was told that if I was even slightly later, I would need to reschedule. When I arrived at 2:37 PM, after driving an hour, I was told I could not receive my full treatment.This was especially frustrating because on multiple occasions I have been left waiting when the provider was running late, and I’ve even heard staff mention how slow they are and that they have no clients until closing. Clearly, the “five-minute policy” is not applied fairly or with any consideration for the customer.Overall, I feel the services were misrepresented, the treatments ineffective, and the way I was treated was unprofessional and inconsiderate of my time. I will be disputing the charges and sharing my experience so others are aware before spending their money here.
I am happy with the fillers I got in lips and cheeks. Technician was good at getting them evenly applied. Took a few days for bruising to go away, but it was a small amount, only at injection sites. I would return for more when I can afford them. But being retired I dont have much budget available
I went to the Novi location and I had an excellent experience. Kaitlyn is a very talented and professional! My technician Dominque went above and beyond to make my experience peasant! Highly recommend Light rx in Novi trust me you will not be disappointed!
