Got all the way to the end of trying to book a flight and the 101 add ons they am want to sell you, only to realise they don’t take Amex. So abandoned the basket and booked with another company. It’s odd that an “online travel agency” specialising in everything online doesn’t take one of the biggest worldwide travel payment cards. Oh well. Booked via the Italia section of the site.

Overcharged and Poor Service!

I booked a flight through lol.travel and was shown a price of €293.20. But, I was charged €313.73 instead. This overcharge is NOT okay.I did not get any warning of price change. Also checking the price now on their website - it still shows €293.20 (so price for the flight has not been changed).I contacted their customer service with proof, but they have been slow and unhelpful. This mistake and poor service have made me lose trust in lol.travel.If you use lol.travel, double-check all charges. I hope they fix this issue and improve their service.

what you advertised as price and what was instanly changed when confirming order

dont advertise one price to be telowest bidder , and then change the price just when you are going to confirm purchasing .

LOL - this is the right name for this lot

LOL - correct name for this booking site. Literally changed the total fee from EU1152 to EU1265 whilst I was busy putting my credit card details. Never ever ever ever ever again

For booking there were a lot of hidden charges. However it was easy to navigate around. We got worried after as we found some posts saying it was a scam ? Would be nice to verify ?
