Review Time
Decided to change my usual order and purchased the Eaton Mess, with vanilla icing. Really disappointed. The sponge when cutting the cake crumbled!!! No matter what knife I used. I buy at least 3 to 4 cakes per year from Lola and this was sadly not up to scratch. Plus the vanilla icing tasted soapy. It was not a cheap cake, but I will not be buying it again.
Bought a vegan chocolate cake for my grownup daughter's birthday. Was both aesthetic and tasty.... exactly as advertised! Good sized portions!!Was able to add pretty cupcakes for the grandchildren including a Gluten Free one !I had requested home delivery, was able to track the van which arrived punctually! Unfortunately a box of cup cakes was missing...... however between the brilliant communications of the delivery man and customer services they arrived within the same time frame as I had originally requested!!! Fabulous customer service, I phoned in my order and they were great re allergies!! Will Definitely be ordering from Lola's again!!!
