Review Time
I have never been compelled to write a bad review but in dealing with Lordgun I had to.
I returned two tyres that unfortunately did not fit my bike wheels, they were extremely tight. Fine, I packaged them up in a shipping bag from another cycling complany, in which I received some items, the bag was in perfect condition, other than it had been previously opened. I ensured the bag was taped up extremely well and posted to Irongun. Please bear in mind the tyres had been issued to me in a bag from Lordgun themselves, not boxed up then bagged, just a bag.
Lordgun contacted me to advise the bag had arrived in unsuitable (not damaged) packaging, no mention of damaged tyres and that they would not be accepting my refund and I had to pay them postage to return the tyres back to me (?!).
I have tried now on a few occasions to refute this but they have remained adamant that they will not refund me (they have now forgotten about the demand for me to pay them to post back), even though the tyres are clearly undamaged. The reason being unsuitable packing.
My argument to this is how can anyone be responsible for how your post is handled once in transit?
I have received no photos, nothing. So there is no evidence, just their word.
Having now seen other reviews of this company, I wish I had not purchased from them.
I’ve never felt the need to write a negative review until now. I returned two tyres that unfortunately didn’t fit my bike wheels; they were very tight. I packaged them in a shipping bag from another cycling company, which was in perfect condition aside from being previously opened. I ensured the bag was sealed well and sent it to the service. They later informed me that the bag arrived in unsuitable packaging (though not damaged) and refused my refund, insisting I pay for return postage. I attempted to contest this but they remain firm on not issuing a refund, despite the tyres being undamaged. Their reasoning is based on the packing being unsuitable. I question how one can be held accountable for the handling of a package in transit. I received no photos or evidence, just their claims. After seeing other reviews, I regret purchasing from them.
I ordered a helmet that looked entirely different from the photos on the website — a clear case of misleading representation. When I reached out to customer support, they admitted the photos were incorrect but only offered a small compensation. I requested a full refund and return shipping coverage due to their error, but they asked me to destroy the helmet and send proof instead. This made the refund process feel unprofessional. Very disappointing experience and poor handling of the return policy. I regret ordering from them and wouldn’t recommend this service.
