I mistakenly left my phone on the no 1 bus in Broadfield today, and I was in a panic as I had also lost my bank card and bus card. I called to check if anyone would answer, and thankfully, a representative picked up and informed me that my phone had been found and was at the customer service office. Since I had to go to work and the office would be closed by the time I finished, I was anxious about how to get there without money or another bank card. The representative was remarkably patient, kind, and helpful as we figured out when I could pick up my phone. He went above and beyond by offering to bring it to my workplace after his shift. It's uncommon to see such commitment to customer service beyond regular hours. I am sincerely grateful for his help, especially since walking long distances is challenging for me. He is a tremendous asset to the service, and I hope he is recognized for his exceptional support today. Thank you so much for your assistance!
I left my phone on the no 1 bus in Broadfield,Crawley today. I was in a panic as I'd not only lost my phone but my bank card and my bus card as well. I rang it to see if someone answered it. It was answered by Phil who explained it had been found on the bus and was now in the customer service office. I had to go to work and the office would be shut by time i finished and would have needed to walk from Broadfield to get there as had no money or another bank card. Phil was so patient kind and helpful listening to me trying to work out when I could come and get it . He then went above and beyond his duty of customer service/care and offered to bring it to me at my workplace after he finished work. Not many people would still be providing customer service to their customers in their own time. I am so grateful to him for doing this for me today as I struggle with walking for too long. He is a credit to metro bus and I hope he will be given some recognition from the company for his exceptional customer service given to me today. Thank you so much Phil
Bus 93 runs from Horsham to Dorking. I take it to work, and something goes wrong every day. There's only one bus an hour, and they either arrive at the stop too early and never waits for departure time, especially in the morning. But they usually arrive late. Today, it took 50minutes. I called Metrobus to make sure the bus was there because I couldn't see it on the map in the app. The customer service person assured me it would be there. After waiting 20 minutes in the freezing cold, in the dark, I called again to find out the bus was delayed 39min. This is terrible!
Buses always delayed, lotsbof cancellations, rude drivers. No organisation at all, lots of buses running one way, nothing going the opposite way. 40 min waiting for a bus thats supposed to run every 7 min. Get yourselfs sorted!! I believe we do pay enough to have a minimum of service!
As if things couldnt get even worse, this morning the 435 from Slipshatch Road at 6.37(first bus of the day) never turned up.This is now 4 buses in 8 days.I buy weekly tickets on the key and due to problems with it activating on the bus i now have to make it to the travel shop when they are open to top up and pay more than online. Its just not worth it any more. These services need Re Nationalising.
Yet again this morning I had to change my plans as 430 from Slipshatch Road at 7.42 didn't show up.I tracked it before I went out and it showed it was around Three arch road.Must have been turned back to Redhill. This is the 3rd 430 in less than a week now that hasn't shown up including being stuck at the hospital in the cold Wednesday night.Mechanical issue???
Driver completely ignored the bell I rang requesting him to stop 3 times! I ended up 2 stops past my house stop which is quite a distance and even then had to walk down the aisle on a moving bus to get his attention to stop. Said he didn't hear the bell. Had to walk back home in the dark and pouring rain which is what I was trying to avoid by getting the bus in the first place!
