This is a fraudulent company:I signed up for a "free" trial on 21 April 2025 - I was then charged AUD 32.43 on April 22, AUD 65.18 on May 25, June 23 and July 22. Due to personal circumstances I missed seeing the additional charges. I emailed Mindway on July 21 cancelling my subscription and asking for confirmation. I received no reply. Last Thursday October 23 I noticed a charge of AUD 353.99 while overseas. I immediately contacted my credit card company.As they are a US company based in California I'm investigating how i can lodge a complaint and prevent them from trading.
I signed up for the walking yoga but wasn’t really helping me so I stopped using it. After a while, I got an email to remind me that the free 6 month subscription was about to expire and I will be charged €211 for a year’s subscription so I promptly sent them an email to pls cancel as I could not afford that. I received a confirmation email to say that my subscription was successfully cancelled but Lo and behold I still got charged with the €211 today! Total scam! I have contacted my bank regarding this fraudulent transaction and hoping that I would get a refund from this! Avoid this app at all cost!
** Don't be fooled by the replies this company is posting under everyone's reviews - they are doing nothing and they don't care - they just want to screw people over. Report to trading standards (UKICC) and raise a dispute with your bank. The more people that register a complaint officially the better. Today I have been charged £176.99 for an app I have never even encountered let alone signed up for. They already fleeced me earlier in the year with a £5 trial which seems not to need cancelling but in the microscopic and buried information it has you signing up to a monthly subscription, I was down £50 before I realised what was happening. Avoid avoid avoid.
Subscribed in April for Walking Yoga , finished my 7 day trial , canceled subscription as the app itself didn’t fit me and was not helpful .5 days ago I wake up with some strange 317.99$CAD on my credit card from “Effecto” then I had to dig , and find out Medical Score . Search all those in my email ( God bless me I keep all emails from all my subscriptions I have and had in past , for my own reference and for my husband who keeps track of all changes on credit cards) , nothing pops out , I look online I find connections with Mindway . im searching again in email to see if I have anything. No luck . So since this change is masive , came out of nowhere , I started panicking . Reached out to walking yoga first , and to my complete suprise they tell me that there is this app I subscribed to along with walking yoga ?!?! When ? Where ? Why there is no email of that if Im allegedly subscribed to that ? Why I haven’t been informed that I have been subscribed and that I will be charged 317.99$ ?Customer service from both sides Mindway and Walking Yoga are hidding behind their scam policy “we informed you upon subscribing “ I want to know where Im informed , because if I did , trust me I wouldn’t be here writing this essay , as I would not even sign up for walking yoga nonsense at first place. Submited dispute via PayPal ,same thing they refused to refund . Next step is dispute with my bank , plus I will report to police . Your Costumer Service is dismissive , doesn’t care about costumer, just about keeping stolen money . I wish that every single person who got scammed by you is submitting a lawsuit or pressing charges , because I will . I will not give you my hard earned money without a fight. Mindway… for helping with mindfulness you say ??? This is for causing havoc and stress and money frustration. Thank you so much
The App itself was just okay. I subscribed for 3 months to give it a try, but realized it wasn’t something I was going to use long term so I didn’t extend the time. Thinking since I didn’t actively purchase any more time on the app, no further action was needed, I forgot all about it. Until a year later when they charged my card again. I reached out to Mindway to let them know there had been a mistake and I didn’t make this purchase. They said I never cancelled my account and the purchase stands and they refuse to refund my money. Make sure you read the fine print before you purchase. Apparently buying a 3 month subscription somehow means you actually want to purchase it year after year despite not using it for 9 months.
Absolutely shocking! My Mum got a fraud text from her bank saying Mindway have charged £176 on her credit card and seeing all these reviews she’s not alone in this and I’m shocked. Bank have been contacted and it’s been cancelled. Mindway or whatever this company is sent a subscription which was never signed up for. My Mum did a free trial of walking yoga which was cancelled ages ago and has somehow been linked to Mindway which is sneaky to put in a charge anyway even though it was cancelled. £176 for what? To keep her stress free? What it’s doing is CAUSING stress not a STRESS FREE mindset. If anyone sees this please call your bank right away, this is a SCAM!
BEWARE! ND MINDWAY is a scam company! I was charged $219.99 for a ? subscription and I had NEVER heard of this company or had any encounter with them. I have reported FRAUD to my CC company and it is being researched as I type. I do not game, I do not use wallet, and I am proactive about my accounts. UPDATE 10-22-25: Mindway replied to my review and advised me to contact their customer service...I would be happy to do so IF I Knew who to contact....I have no email or phone numbers and could not locate on a website.
