Review Time
We have just had a Mira electric shower replaced by our plumber - supposedly a like for like model. Well the old one was better and if this is as result of Mira cutting costs to keep their profit margins, I am not happy! The pump is terrible and water pressure worse than the old model of over 30yrs old! The hose is too short to be fit for purpose and the water pressure completely dies off when you try to use the shower hose and head off the wall attachment. The shower head is too big now to maintain the flow of water and clearly to have one that would work, would just look and be ridiculous - like a dog shower fitting! I am seriously disappointed and a like for like updated model version should be, at a minimum, an improvement in the performance, not a reduction. Where is the integrity of this once great brand gone?? Not sure I will ever buy or recommend Mira again.

The digital shower system is fantastic
Courteney, the Mira engineer, explained what remedial action he was taking to resolve the leak problem.
He also checked the water pressure and hot water temperature to determine if that had caused the problem, alleviating any future problems going forward.
Courtney the engineer arrived promptly. And went to work straight away.
Explaining what the problem was and how he was going to fix it as he went along. Even explaining how the shower works. I thought i new the basics on how a shower works. But now i know a bit more.
I would recommend Courtney to any one who needs help with there Shower unit.
Sebastian called ahead of visit. He attended when he was booked to. He was polite and put shoe protectors on. He explains what he is doing. He replaced parts and fixed the problem. We now have hot water from our shower once more ! He also explained how to set up the APP which we had not done before. Everything covered under warranty. Great !

Phoned for shower repair and service engineer arrived the next morning. Very nice and professional but was unable to remove cartridge and stated there would be a charge. I called a local plumber who arrived the next day and removed the cartridge almost immediately.
I called Mira and spoke to a very understanding and helpful Alina who discussed it with management who agreed to refund the charge made.

I received exceptional assistance from the customer service representative today when I called to ask about shower replacement options. The representative was thorough in explaining the different choices available for my shower. Very helpful and considerate. I will certainly arrange for a shower replacement once I make my decision.
