I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at the company. I ordered dining chairs in person at the store, and the associate confirmed they were in stock and available. Five days later, I received an unexpected cancellation notice with no clear explanation. When I contacted customer service to find out what happened, the only solution offered was a $25 gift card, which felt insulting given the inconvenience and the need to start my search all over again. To make things worse, the exact same style chair is still available as a custom-order option — yet the company refused to provide any discount or price adjustment, even though the original in-stock set I purchased was canceled through no fault of my own. For a company at this price level, I expected much better communication, accountability, and customer support.

Concerning Billing Practices—Will Not Order Again

I’ve been a customer for years, but my recent experience was troubling enough that I won’t order from them again. I purchased a rug and paid via a payment platform at checkout. The rug shipped from a third-party vendor, and everything seemed fine. Months later, I received a concerning email about a 'payment issue,' asking for a cashier’s check or money order, threatening collections. The tone and formatting were so unusual that it resembled a phishing scam. When I reached out directly, customer service confirmed that the internal payment authorization had expired because the order shipped before the payment was captured — a situation customers couldn’t foresee. Despite this being a backend issue, the company’s communication was vague and lacked a secure resolution method. Even after I reported the initial message's suspicious nature, they did not provide a safe payment link for a week, placing the burden entirely on me. The product itself is fine, but the handling of this situation, especially the misleading communication, was disappointing and eroded my trust in the brand.

Poorly Managed Company

I am decorating a new house and have spent considerable time on their website. They have beautiful products, but I have never encountered a website so glitch-ridden and poorly maintained. The frustration from using it is beyond words. I faced countless issues trying to spend $5000, unable to complete my purchase due to glitches that caused hang-ups. I called customer service and waited an hour, only to be disconnected. I’ve wasted over two hours trying to buy two items. It’s astonishing how a company with such potential can operate so poorly. I can only imagine the frustration of returning items! Their incompetence has worn me down, and I will seek my furniture elsewhere — likely at a better price.

Frustration with Order Process

I ordered three bookcases totaling over $6000. The first shipment arrived damaged, and they took it back, promising to send another set. They did, but it was also damaged. I requested a refund, and they assured me it would be processed, but I’m still waiting a month later with no furniture and no refund, and now they refuse to take my calls.

Received Damaged Item with No Response

I ordered a cocktail table, but first, they lost the order, then found it, and it arrived in a sealed box. After opening the heavy box, I discovered they sent me a return of someone else's used table. It was filthy and appeared damaged. I have attempted to contact them multiple times with detailed photos, but they have refused to respond. I spent a significant amount for a new table and received a used, damaged product that is worthless.

Horrible Customer Service Experience

Customer service is terrible! I placed an order but realized the description was incorrect and needed to return it. After confirming they received the return, I reached out via email and was assured I would receive my refund within 3-5 days. Now, it’s the 6th, and I haven’t received it. When I called, I was told that due to a system change during my return, I would receive a check instead, violating their own return policy. I have over a decade of experience in public sales and have never encountered such poor customer service. The representative I spoke with was rude and unhelpful. I will never shop with them again or recommend them to anyone.
