Thanks U so much Monte-Carlo car rental ! A great experience with you ! Thanks!!!We had no trouble getting around with this beautiful car throughout Jordan.Everything was perfect, and as a bonus, the Wi-Fi device gave us signal everywhere in Jordan — even in the desert!Everything was just perfect.
Impressed. These guys are really looking after their reputation. Picked-up from airport at night, introduced the car, which was a Pajero in top condition. They were trying to helpMe connecting to the navigation system via Bluetooth, which did not function, so they quickly arranged another car, where the connectivity didn’t work either (must be a phone and therefore not the car issue). To balance it out, they provided a free drop off at the hotel after we brought back the car a week later and later also a drop off at the airport from the city, which was not necessary but we appreciated. Just very nice and service oriented guys. Very trustful.
I had a fantastic experience with Monte Carlo Car Rental. From the very first contact, the team was professional and went the extra mile to tailor their service to my needs. They took the time to understand what I was looking for and offered the best possible options, all at very reasonable prices.A special thanks goes to Anees, our driver, who was much more than just a driver—he was a wonderful guide and an incredible support throughout the trip. Anees shared insightful information about every site we visited and helped us shape our itinerary to make the most of our time in Jordan. He also took care of every little detail, from booking tickets to assisting with shopping, always going above and beyond. By the end of the trip, he felt more like a friend than a guide. Many thanks to Monte Carlo and to Anees for making our trip smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. I highly recommend them to anyone visiting Jordan for their reliability, friendliness, and personalised service.
I rented from Monte Carlo for a few days in April 2025, to drive down to the Dead Sea, Petra and Wadi Rum then back up again.Went with Monte Carlo based on their great reviews, and the bad reviews the international companies at the airport had. I made the right choice. The other reason I went with Monte Carlo is I don't have a credit card, and they allow hire with debit cards if you pruchase the SDCW Super Damage Collision Waiver, which was 10 JOD a day. Didn't go the full Super Cover as anything else would be covered by my travel insurance. They didn't take a further deposit. Car was a three-year old Nissan Sunny automatic in good condition, with about 60K on the clock. Good tyres and good spare. Bit smaller than I'm used to, I drive a Pajero back home in Australia, but there was only one of me & I wasn't going off road so didn't see the point in wasting money on a bigger car, and while it's not exactly the most stylish car out there, it drove like a dream. And came with Carplay which I wasn't expecting - I bought a travel eSim for data on my phone before arriving (with Nomad), so that was navigation sorted, just used Google Maps. The car had no problem with power or tackling hills, great acceleration, also had a much better than expected sound system, so I had fun blaring the music at full volume all the way back up the Desert Highway - turning it off for the police checkpoints mind :) On that - the car is clearly marked as a Monte Carlo rental and I was clearly a tourist so the police generally just waved it through, except where they wanted a chat about Australia.Their office is about ten minutes from the airport, they pick you up and drop you back you again. I used whatsapp to contact them.Staff were extremely genuine & friendly and fluent in English, although they appreciated my attempts at Arabic. Shout out to Bahaa who sorted me out when I arrived. Any small marks on the car when I picked it up were clearly identified, and when I returned the car there was no dodgy attempt to find more fake damage. As a local company they depend on good reviews for their business, not overcharging tourists - so I'm here to give them another one.I'd definitely hire from them again next time, and strongly recommend them. General notes on driving as a tourist in Jordan:- make sure you read up on the speed humps. I did, and had no problems because I was on the lookout and expecting them. But a lot aren't signed, or the sign helpfully comes after the speed hump, and the warnign rumble strip is right in front of the hump so no use at all.- lanes are optional- tail-lights are optional- lot of police checkpoints, which they have instead of highway patrol. All the police were extremely friendly, especially if you try to speak Arabic, one even made a heart symbol when I said I was from Australia.- highway and country driving fine. I wouldn't attempt driving in Amman.
Jordan is the perfect country to do an epic road trip, and Monte Carlo is the best company to hire your car. We drove around in a 4x4 Mitsubishi Pajero, but Monte Carlo has a huge fleet in a range of prices, and they're conveniently located near the capital, Amman, and Queen Alia International Airport. The team is very friendly, helpful, trustworthy, and efficient - we were picked up at the airport, and were warmly welcomed to Jordan. The car itself worked perfectly, was clean, drove smoothy, and was able to tackle all the different roads surfaces. We drove for six days from Amman to Wadi Rum and back, and the drive was easy and comfortable. We also loved the addition of the WiFi router that we could unplug from the car and use in our hotel. Overall, Monte Carlo prices are fair and competitive, the team is very professional, and the car itself is of a high standard.Would highly recommend - thank you!
