Dreadful from the start

Dreadful from the start. I wanted to try this hotel at Geneva airport as my usual choice was full. Booking was a nightmare as reservations told me they were too busy and I needed to book online. Not as straightforward as you might think. Prior to booking I asked the hotel if they had a shuttle that could be booked for 5am. No problem they said. On arrival at the hotel, they said the 0450 and the 0510 shuttles were full. Not great!! Decided to go for dinner. Waited 25 minutes for someone to take our order then waited another hour to receive our meal. Not one meal was what we ordered. We had to send back two out of three meals. Got to our room which absolutely stank of damp and mould. I called down to reception and they did nothing for us except placed a couple of machines in the corridor to remove the dreadful smell that was there too. Then to add insult to injury, there was one towel in the bathroom to be shared between 3 of us and plenty of pubic hairs in the bathroom. Not more than 2 hours sleep due to neighbours slamming doors and talking loudly in the corridor. Absolutely dreadful experience and will never stay there again. The hotel is a dump in clear need of refurbishment. Don’t stay there!

LIARS & ROBBERS!!!

I booked a room on the 26th June and paid for it via hotels.com, took a taxi from the airport then they say they are fully booked and I said that I already paid for the room, the receptionist laughed and said that there was nothing they could do and that I needed to contact hotels.com. I also told him how do hotels.com know that I have not got the room and his reply was that they will take care of it... So, I needed to take a taxi back to the airport and stay awake all night due to this...TJuly 1st: hotels.com emailed me and said the hotel told them that I did check in and it was not overbooked...LIARS & ROBBERS!!!I called hotels.com, they issued a refund for the room and compensation for the two taxi rides, without anything from the hotel.

Everyday we could notice the cleanliness of our room 1040 today i want to thanks Mr Rabiul Islam Jr who clean our room on daily basis..he is a nice boy with very pleasant attitude towards customers..Very hard working n highly recommended person..Thank u so much Movenpic Hotel for providing great staff n sevices

The staff at Mövenpick Jlt

The staff at Mövenpick, JLT, were wonderful. Really friendly and helpful.from check in to check out, Anas was very welcoming. The service provided by the breakfast staff was excellent, especially Ali, Ilyas and Yakub. They were attentive and remembered preferences from the previous day. Thank you

I have stayed here at the Movenpick…

I have stayed here at the Movenpick Hotel Wellington for 7 nights over the past 2 weeks, Initially I was very excited to stay here after having such a positive and relaxing experience at Movenpick Hobart.I have had some small issues with my Accor status not being recognised, and an exorbitant price for an extra night, then this morning a very rude person in the restaurant 'M...'. I asked her if I was on the list for a complimentary breakfast and with a smile on her face and in a terse tone stated 'No'.I filled in my form and told her I would sort it out with the main desk later, during my breakfast neither M.... or her team offered me coffee. I know this sounds petty, but when you stay at a premium hotel, you expect premium service, without a terse look.Also, my room 606 has a crack in the basin, serious enough to warrant its replacement.I apologise for the complaint, but when you spend two weeks away from home you would like your accommodation to be a sanctuary to go back to after your long day, I don't feel that here.

We stayed at Movenpick in Al Marjan…

We stayed at Movenpick in Al Marjan Island. The Hotel is spotless very spacious which is great! The staff i can't thank enough for the experience myself and the kids had. From arrival i had issues i left my phone in our transfer car, then realised i left my pushchair at airport! Safi at reception was amazing and helped me resolve it all smoothly!! The kids club staff kept my daughter so entertained! I cant thank Zainab Rashida Kimo and the entire Kids Club Team! In the restaurants we had the best experience from the staff. Shakirah, Joycelyn, Makadiddi, were always polite friendly and just generally top class service daily!! Back to Reception team Sydney and Eric are just SUPER AMAZING guys to interact with. Nothing is too much hassle always smiling and helpful. We had the best service from Parasanna the bar tender too. So sweet polite very professional. He just knew what our drinks were and just said take a seat! Finally the 2 Men that made our holiday the MOST MEMORABLE Samy & Hassan that offer trips to Dubai and the Jet Skis! We had the best day with a day trip to Dubai with Hassan! Honestly what a great Guy he is!! His photography and Samy's is what we have to take away from our trip. We will never forget this experience and hope to return soon. These two chaps knew how to get teh best from my teenage sons and my little 4yr old daughter we have teh best photos!! Thank you all.
