The routers seem incredibly fragile; simply turning them off for a few weeks appears to break them. After returning from vacation and powering it back on, I found myself without internet. I reached out to the support team, which had no technical expertise, and they kept insisting on sending a new router instead of offering a straightforward solution. After hours of communication, my case was escalated, but I received no updates. I'm still waiting for my new router, and the delivery service they use is equally disappointing, making no effort to deliver my package—no texts or calls, it's a complete joke from both sides. The support on messaging platforms was also terrible.

Movistar is the worst and most unprofessional telecom provider in Spain. We upgraded our system which never worked - during the upgrade, the technician took our old router away and connected a new one. The upgrade never worked (it was slower than our previous internet). For some reason, the shop made us cancel the old connection in my name and put the new one in my wife’s name. We then found a much better competitor and moved to them. I took the router back to the shop in Alcudia(who are completely disorganized and badly trained) and since then have been bugged by endless emails and collections agents asking for EUR80 for the router. We have been back to the shop several times and they have told us that they have updated their records but still the collection agents keep sending threatening emails. I wish I had never dealt with this company. They do not deserve anyone’s business.
Scammers. Added insurance without telling me, told me my package included 'free' tablet. There is nowhere to see any of this, I only found out what I'd actually been charged for when I went to another store.You always have to wait 24 hours for an answer to a request yet every day your original request mysteriously disappears. We have been a week now going from place to place call to call like a massive joke cat and mouse game and still nowhere.I can't believe they are actually able to get away with this!
This company is terrible. Nothing works as it should. I bought a new phone and was denied access to a new eSIM for days because of some technical error in their system (all the while I was still paying for cell phone service I didn't have). I had to visit the store three times and spent countless hours there and the issue still couldn't resolved because it was ¨the weekend¨. Ridiculous in this day and age. I was given misinformation and lied to by the staff. As soon as this issues is resolved, if it ever is (and I have my doubts) I will be canceling all of my services and taking my business elsewhere. I pay over €100 a month to Movistar only to be treated very badly by them. The staff in the store on Grand Via are lovely but they cannot solve problems because of the ¨system. The MS app is useless and even th e store staff couldn't get it to work and accept and upload photos on my ID which I needed to do to try to solve my issue. I was sent away to try to do this by myself at home. Every time I go to the store I am sent away with some vague reassurances that the issue will be resolved ¨tomorrow. I have had a very stressful experience with MS this weekend and all because I bought a new phone.
