Review Time
I don't think the premium price was worth it given how much work was involved on my part, basically to prepare my own taxes and then have someone give it a cursory review. Not worth the price. But the taxes were in the end filed accurately, and for that I am satisfied.
The interface is attractive and easy to navigate. The price is competitive. Bonus - they save information from previous years which is a huge time-saver, especially for FBARs. Their chat is a little slow to use, and they can't validate electronic signatures (so mandatory printing and scanning). The product is solid, so I'll be using it next year.
Great communication and wonderful setup, allowing for easy review and submission of forms and documents. The individuals with whom we corresponded were very helpful and professional. This was my third year filing with MyExpatTaxes, and it is always hassle-free and straightforward. Absolutely recommend!
It was a bit difficult for me to figure out at first (mainly inputting a foreign address), but overtime I began to understand how to fill out the forms accordingly. The person who helped me also reassured me that my data would not be given to AI/LLMs, so that was also a relief. I appreciated all the help I got, since I hadn't filed in a while...haha.
