very easy to use. The only problem is that when I submitted to the irs and got some errors, after fixing and resubmitting I kept seeing the previous errors, without being able to tell that there was another submission waiting for the response from the irs

Worth the cost. Filing US taxes from abroad is going to be expensive - I haven't come across a cost-effective alternative geared towards expats. So understanding we will have to swallow a huge expense, this tax filing program takes out all the guesswork and gears the questions towards its target audience. My information is saved year over year, so I don't have to waste time adding pension accounts and employer addresses. Meanwhile, the staff has always been prompt and helpful while I attempt to decode what information the IRS wants. While I don't love throwing a decent part of a paycheck at this software every year, I am thankful for it, since without it every spring would be absolute hell.
The site is easy-to-use, and I love how most of my information from the previous year is pre-filled into the current-year return. We have a rather simple tax profile, so it took me about 15 minutes to file. No more stress, lots of time left for other things!
