I got a pre-paid card in the mail from this co. I had no idea what it was for or who from as it doesn't give any information, so I tried to call. You cannot speak to a person and it tells you the balance is $0. This appears to be a complete scam, but not a very good one as they don't get any of your personal info.Who the heck is sending these cards out? Complete fraud. They also had an old address for me. Totally sketch.
This company needs to be investigated for fraud. They issued me a prepaid gift card as a $40 reward for a program I participated in. The card came in the mail and got misplaced for a couple of months while I moved. The card had a very short window before it expired and already expired when I found it. I called to have the $40 reissued and they said too late it already expired. Really? Where did my $40 go? Thieves!
Got the card as a promotion for buying sn appliance from Whirlpool. Validated the card. At the end of the process there is a list of companies you can spend the card at. If you do there is a 5 dollar bonus. I called the customer service number to get more details. Obviously if you click through using the link there is some kickback to this company. The customer service rep had no clue about the offer if you use the link for Under Armour. Sketchy that customer service has no idea about the company's own promotion. Will give feedback to Whirlpool and Under Armour later this week.Josh, tried calling Myprepaidcenter today after seeing your reply. 4 p.m. Mountain Standard Time. No option to talk with anyone live. I have answered your request to Trustpilot for contact info. First staff not aware of promotion. Now difficult talking to a live person. What does it say about company. Time to contact Whirlpool and Under Armour.
This company is a giant scam. I received a digital prepaid card as part of a class action settlement and it has been impossible to use anywhere, nor could you ever get the full value of what is on the card so they basically steal from every recipient. The card is always declined. And if you want to add it to your phone wallet, you have to download a sketchy app. Plus they have their own little fees. No company should ever use this service. I've been trying to donate the full balance of my card and it has been declined on several different non-profit organizations' sites. Their customer service number also hangs up on you if you try to connect to a human. It is just a menu with useless prerecorded messages.Edit: They claim below to have reached out, but no - no one has reached out. The scam continues.
They blocked my card, and the only way to contact them is via phone number. As soon as I get to the part where it says please hold for the next customer service agent, it instantly hangs up on me.The company steals money from people, and then makes it impossible to contact them. CROOKS!
I have never seen a company who have no idea how their internal system works like this one. I have been trying to redeem my code since August 11th and always met with an error message to call their number. Customer support is totally useless and the email support is more useless. It's been 5 days now and I still can't redeem my code. Funny enough I saw people on reddit 2 years ago complaining of the same issue I am having and this company couldn't fix it back then and definitely still couldn't fix it 2 years later. Customers had to wait 2-6 months just for the error message to disappear. Never use this company and if you know of any alternative please let me know asap
