If I could give zero stars, I would. My card was declined in multiple stores, causing embarrassment and inconvenience, only to later be told there are “no funds” left on it—despite the fact that I have not even used it.They provide a toll-free number for “customer service,” but it is nothing more than an endless loop of pre-recorded messages. You will never reach a human being. There is no working email to contact them. There is no real customer service whatsoever.For a company handling people’s money, this level of inaccessibility is outrageous. It is completely unacceptable to operate in this manner. In my opinion, it raises every red flag of being a scam.Consumers deserve better. This company should be investigated, and there should be a group lawsuit brought against them for their blatant disregard for customer rights and their failure to provide the most basic service—access to your own funds.Avoid this company entirely. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and potential loss of your money.
I was given a US$20 vitual Mastercard (for participating in academic research). I was given a code and redeemed the card successfully. However, the card was not accepted on Amazon and not accepted by my Apple Wallet. Some instructions on the MyPrepaidCenter website suggested downloading their app "My Card Wallet" - the app did not work either. Also, I set up a profile on MyPrepaidCenter using my email address, and there is no way to delete my account and remove my personal info from this platform. I also called the customer hotline (US line for people calling from overseas) but after spending 30 minutes on multiple calls there is no option to speak to a human. Conclusion: This company is probably a scam that targets collecting your personal info (IP address on computer and phone, and email address).[update 17 Aug 2025] After receiving 3 emails, once a day, from Myprepaidcenter asking for different pieces of info to verify my identity, I decided not to further engage to protect my privacy, time, and energy. Sorry, sharing my physical address to a corporate email chain cc'd to several strangers just didn't feel comfortable. Instead of trying to fix the issue for me, please focus on fixing the issue for all your future users, so that they can use their virtual cards. Thank you.
This is ridiculous! I have a balance and the card keeps getting declined. I call the phone number on the virtual card and says its been blocked. I go through the entire process on the phone and when transferred to CS the line hangs up. 5 times this has happened!
Usually works but my card is frozen for some reason? I redeemed a visa card through mistplay and got it through myprepaidcenter and added it to my Amazon to transfer to my Amazon gift card balance and now suddenly it doesn’t want to work and Amazon is placing the order on hold.Now I try to see my card details now it’s just dots showing instead of my card numbers. I’ve tried everything and I think they gave me a messed up card. It also has been blocking me access to the site even if I refresh 2 times.Update - myprepaidcenter is saying in their reply that they are going to look into the issue but nothing has happened and the card will not work. I can see the card info now but it’s completely unusable. I can’t even use it on Amazon despite every time I’ve gotten one of these cards it would work. They definitely gave me a fake card
This is a scam website. I redeemed a gift card through work and cannot add it to my profile or view the balance, nor could I use it when I wanted to. The customer service line is all automated and doesn't actually want to help you. There's no way to order a physical card, and you can't manually enter the card details in person. Would love help if I can speak to a human!
I would rate a zero but you can't. So a 1 star. I received the MasterCard from a class action lawsuit and tried using it twice at a gas station. Declined both times and they blame the store. I watched the machine decline it. Used a PIN that was set up. I believe this company is a scam business that steals PINs and your address. All this nonsense to try to buy $22.31 worth of gasoline. Stay away from this awful system....not worth the aggravation.
very limited on where card can be used, this card was gifted to me as a reward but its more of a head ache. to the people and companies gifting my prepaid balance visa giftcards, do not gift these, very limited on where you can use them..
Card getting declined on almost every website. Cannot add the card to Apple Pay, and recently I can’t access my card details from the retrieval link in which it gives me an error message. Tried to enter card on their website to manage or activate it and it also fails! Tried requesting for a new retrieval link, entered my email which the card was registered, and it FAILED! ~$80 of funds are still remained in the card
