This merchant is a fraud. I recieved a prepaid card, it is declined everywhere including Amazon, Target and Paypal. When I call for customer service, it gives some security code and asks for some. I have no idea where to provide that code. There is no way to reach them, and I feel the 50 dollars I received via a reward is going to be to waste. Please be aware. Also google this company you will find many other people have reported the same error. Thank you!PS: In Trustpilot 86 percent custom reviews this company with 1 star. Do you need anything further to determine that this company is a fraudulent company?Update : Hi I had not received any email from you. I checked email from noreply.notifications but nothing from that address. I also checked spam folder. Thanks. Update : August 9 no resolution from the company. This is one of a kind fraudulent company. Update : August 20, 2025. Still no response from the company.
Unable to use $400 Card.Unfortunately I have been unable to use the $400 card issued as a reimbursement from a company. Everywhere online that I've tried to use it, it's been declined. It's really frustrating. If I'd know I wouldn't have been able to use this card, I would have requested the reimbursement via check.
I supposedly have money on a MasterCard gift card with these people. Can’t access it. I tried to log into their site. I think that I get in. It appears so and then wants me to login again. I wanna find out if the money expires. It says look at the terms conditions. The terms and conditions can’t be found anywhere.
I can’t get my card verified. After creating a password they sent a code to my email. (The website disappeared when I went to mail.) I copied and pasted the code and was prompted to sign in. It rejected my credentials despite using the extra simple password I had just created and pasting the code. So I followed a prompt to reset the password. That email never came. Hoop upon hoop, failure after failure. Intentional, I believe.Postscript—My Prepaid Center asked for more information. Several emails arrived from TrustPilot with a form to fill out to “add more information.” But the form demands a “reference number.” I double checked all the mail from TrustPilot (acknowledging my review, notifying me of publication, etc.) and there is no “reference number” on any of them. To be fair, this is on TrustPilot, not My Prepaid Center, but it is yet another frustration. From what I read online, it seems likely that, in the unlikely event I ever get the card validated, it will more likely than not be rejected in use. If they were serious about a rebate they could just send a check.
Awful, predatory service. I received a prepaid mastercard through MyPrepaidCenter and was never able to spend any of the money on it. The system is intentionally clunky and restrictive, making it nearly impossible to use the card anywhere meaningful. Tried using it online? Declined. Tried in-store? Declined again. No explanation, no reason, just rejected. I tried calling their so-called “customer support” multiple times. You get stuck in a never-ending loop of automated menus, then hold music, and eventually… nothing. On the rare occasion you get a human, they’re unhelpful and dismissive — if you get through at all. Of course, I only managed to reach someone after the card expired (after 6 months of receiving it) and the balance had mysteriously disappeared. How convenient for them.Their entire operation feels like it’s designed to frustrate users into giving up. They rely on people not having the time or energy to jump through their endless hoops. This is not just bad service — it’s borderline criminal. A complete scam dressed up as a legitimate business.I wouldn’t recommend MyPrepaidCenter to anyone - not even my worst enemies. Avoid this company like the plague. If you’ve been given one of their cards, insist on an alternative. You’ll save yourself a massive headache - and your money.
I have close to $100 on my prepaid center cards and they keep getting declined on multiple websites. I’ve tried calling them about this issue and was HUNG UP ON by one of their customer service representatives AND IF YOU DONT USE THE MONEY ON YOUR CARD THEY CHARGE YOU FEES EVERY MONTH!! Honestly, I think I should complaint to the financial consumer protection bureau because these faulty financial services can’t be okay. We should be able to access our money.
Virtual debit card never works. Received it as a "settlement" from an Equifax Breach class action, worth $7.44. Suspect it's all a big scam. Tried countless times to use it to pay for ANYTHING on line, and it never is accepted. They followed up with a separate email offering help if I provded a Reference Number, but no info on how to retrieve a Reference Number. This is really a total scam company.
