Review Time
I purchased this card through the XTRM service with a value of $15. When registering, I indicated that I am located in a European country and confirmed my address, then I received the card details. After that, a real nightmare began: I tried every possible way to buy at least something with it. My payments were declined when trying to purchase on Amazon, Temu, Steam; when attempting to top up a crypto exchange balance; when buying online service gift cards; when paying for subscriptions; and when purchasing prepaid cards with balance. Please note that I tried making purchases both in USD and EUR. Also, the problem is definitely not related to exceeding the limit, since the price of the product was much lower than the card’s value. I don’t know how it works for American users, but Europeans under no circumstances should buy these. And the most interesting part is that support is only available by phone and only in the US and Canada.
I got a $5 from Twitch Survey, but I can’t pay for anything with it probably because I mistyped my email address when activating the code. I thought, okay, no problem, I’ll just contact support. But nope if you’re outside the US, you can’t reach support unless you call a number that costs more than the card is worth. I can’t even link the card to the account I created a while back. So I guess the card and those $5 will just sit there forever. I don’t really need it, but it’s just a bad customer experience
I got the redeem code for the prepaid card 15$ and I tried to use on various sites and none of them worked (i tried over 30 websites) the card was added to my google wallet but when i tried to pay with it it got declined and told me to talk to the card issuer , I literally tried everything from using vpn's, to using new browser to different devices and still the card is declining everywhere.Update :I contacted XTRM which is the place I got the card from in the first place and they literally told me that I cant use the card anywhere !!!here's what they said :Please note that the card cannot be used for subscriptions or recurring charges, bill payments, cash transactions such as purchasing a money order, or at the gas pump.Kindly be aware that some merchants may not accept Prepaid cards. You can review the list of accepted merchants on the Card Details page after the virtual or physical card has been activated.
I claimed a $10 virtual card that I got as a reward for testing a game but I have been unable to use it anywhere. All the online reviews I've searched face the same thing with virtual cards, they never work. But I can't order a physical card or contact customer support and since I'm not in US, I can't use it to buy Amazon gift cards or apple gift cards because I can't use them from where I am. Bad way to find out that I'm not getting my $10 that I was hoping to spend on a game. I have also tried using it on epic games, foodpanda app, daraz.pk, finance, bitget, kuCoin, offgamers website and many other apps and websites but no luck. It gets declined everywhere.Update 09/10/2025 : My issue hasn't been fixed because they never contacted me after getting my email address. So it is still a scam. They reply to show that they're trying to help but never actually help.Update 09/18/2025 : I have been in contact with the customer service from BHN and they have done nothing to help me but waste my time and energy on their stupid card. They gave me a replacement card because they blocked my old card due to it being used on unofficial websites (not true) and this time I tried it in places where they said it would work and it didn't and then they told me that they blocked the card because of unusual activity again even though I have not used it on any unofficial websites or sketchy platforms. They keep blocking my cards because of false alarms and then offer replacement and never offer an actual solution to this problem of their card just not working. If you're facing the same problem, just add a review a forget about a solution. They make money off of people like us and I don't think they intend to offer a proper solution to us.
I can't log in to check my card balance, and I can't access the system by phone - it asks me to enter various numbers and always tells me I was incorrect (I wasn't) and then disconnects. So, zero customer support.Edit - still can't log into my account, and when I try to do the "forgot password" thing, it doesn't send the email it promises in order to reset a password. But at least this time I was able to get through on the phone to their automated system. The process was long and arduous, but I finally was able to learn my account balance. No option available that I heard to talk to someone about not being able to log in. I'll just use up the balance and hope I never get one of their cards again.
Activated a code online to redeem a prepaid card, after activation I was prompted to add it to my wallet and the process failed, as well the data from the card disappeared and therefore I am unable to use the voucher/card. The process to redeem the card data fails on the website and I tried to call the customer service and put on hold for 1 hr without being able to talk to anyone. Very disappointed :-(UPDATECustomer service has been great in sorting the issue and followed up my review, it actually was related to an email address not working properly, thumbs up!
