Digital Storm builds very high quality machines for a reasonable price. Their customer service is responsive and helpful. I have now purchased two desktop PCs from them; I am very pleased with the results and will definitely order from them again when I need a new PC.
I was in the market for a new pc after the last pc purchased from you was great as well, I was looking to up grade into a new and more powerful platform, your configuration process and technical support on what was need from a real live person was second to none, I am extremely happy with my pc and the overall purchase.
Where do I begin? - Is there a character limit to reviews?
Allow me to supply a little bit of my background.
40 years of personal compute ownership. Studied
programming in 1983 at the Control Data Institute in New York City, and began my ownership in early DOS operating systems.
Proud owner of the third internet cafe to open in the US in 1994 before home computers and laptops became affordable, boasting Pentium 100 megahertz systems.
I used 8 identical Alienware computers at that time before switching to the short lived Monarch computers. Both were reliable and had solid builds and pre-release testing, but both having grown quickly in popularity suffered in customer support when their customer base grew faster than their support networks. - A common failing.
I was an insatiable consumer of all the compute tech mags trying to keep up with the near constant new developments, and closely following new companies for their reliability.
Then Digital Storm appeared to great reviews which all lauded their 3 most important features; Extensive pre-release testing, rock solid reliability and customer support. I've been with them now for 20 years and they've never wavered in these three most vital services.
- My current Velox system is a wonder, operating glitch and trouble free, handling my business applications, graphics design, movie editing and gaming all with error free ease.

It was a large investment that I would not entrust to anyone else but Digital Storm:
Whenever I've had the slightest problem or question
Digital Storm answered promptly with patient and reliable support, walking me through graphics card upgrade installations and testing with thorough followups to make sure my system was performing
at peak efficiency and stability. They had my back
and I have never received such extensive support from any other supplier in my 40 plus years in the business.
I must add here that I've not had to call them once in over 3 years of constant operation. This Velox system is amazing, running continually under heavy loads without so much as a hiccup that interrupts production.
- All that being said - Perhaps I've been lucky:
At the time of this review D S has a nearly 40% fail rate and obviously has to invest in quality control,
their build and test teams are failing miserably.
They won't survive at this rate and have to bring those numbers back to 95% positive reviews like they were at the start.
Upper management is ultimately to blame which requires a complete ops overhaul replacing those responsible at the highest level.
At this moment purchasing from D S is 50 50 crap shoot. That's an absolutely abysmal gamble.
I'd give them a year to do the fix and watch the numbers closely before engaging with them again.
One disillusioned customer of many -
Had an amazing time setting up my order and deciding on what I wanted. The only thing is with the entire experience that if you aren't aware of what all the components and numbers mean and do then you're going to have to do your own research. The site is definitely set up more for people who have done this before. But aside from that everything of the order process was great.
My experience so far with Digital Storm has been incredible. Even with the my old system being down Scott has taken the time to help us out with our system. We ended up buying another Digital Storm PC. This is our 3rd system. Love this company
Well I ain't very smart when it comes to a computer, ram, memory, cpu, GPU graphics card or any of that. When I called and talked to a digital storm representative he asked what I was going to be doing. And I told him I will be working with DaVinci Resolve. Well he went over what I needed for that software. We talked several times until I thought everything was good, and I placed my order. Well I received my laptop and I am more than pleased with how it performs. It handles DaVinci Resolve like a big kid with a twinkie. So with that being said, I am very happy with the performance of my laptop and I give an A+ to the representative. Thanks Digital Storm, I will come back if I need a new computer.
Everything was great. The website was super easy to navigate. They had good explanation of what every part was. Super easy to customize and I feel I got a really good system for the cost. It runs like a champ and so happy I used you guys for this pc.

This is my third Digital Storm computer. If they made an inferior product I would not be a return customer. Each of my prior two systems are still run in to this day. In the decade I’ve been a Digital Storm customer I have had exactly 1 service issue when a coolant fitting sprang a leak. Even then they sent me the replacement tubing promptly allowing me to return my story full functionality within days and at no additional cost (as my systems are at the extreme high end I always purchase the extended warranty). In three years when I upgrade again I will instantly choose Digital Storm. Purchasing once proved they make a good product. Coming back proves again and again that I’m happy with my decision.
Had several questions regarding hardware, software, shipping, etc. Called before placing my order and they were able to answer all of my questions. Product is up to my standards, functions perfectly and looks beautiful. No issues. There are some things I wish could be further customizable but those are based on hardware limitations. Item arrived less than two weeks after placing my order. Would purchase from again.
