Review Time
I booked the wrong week as was doing 2 things at once. Not the fault of National Express but it would be really helpful if there was an 30/60mim window where you could amend your booking without penalty. It would encourage more people to feel secure making bookings quickly and make a big difference to a lot of people when money is so tight at the moment.
Good price, reliable convenient service. Good drivers. Although I paid an amendment fee (£5), I was not allowed by website to change to an earlier coach...even though it was half empty!! The staff at the coach station was also unable to change it. (Finally, the kindly driver of an earlier coach allowed me to board it. What a relief! If not I would have to wait around for a long time)
I was booking a journey to see my daughter over the festive period. I had that much trouble trying to pay that I am seriously thinking of going into an office to book next time. I am only giving three stars as I have always had a good experience in the past. Whether it was the National Express website or my bank I was extremely frustrated and angry by the time I had completed my booking.
