The OSMO robot cleaner came in the form of a Clevio robot cleaner, and with an instruction booklet that included no website or video links. In fact, there is zero website support of any type.
However, I was able to confirm this is the "newer" version of the cleaner, was given email instructions on how much to fill the washer tank, and ran the device on a window. However, I have chamfered windows, and once the device hit the edge of the glass, a loss of suction occurred. Again, via email, I received the following explanation:
"These devices rely on a flat, smooth surface to maintain proper suction. When they encounter edges, chamfers, or uneven seals, the vacuum can break momentarily, causing the unit to slip or even detach, exactly as you experienced.
Here's what's happening with your chamfered window edges:
• Chamfered edges: The slope at the edge of your window reduces the contact area, so the vacuum seal weakens
While you can try ensuring the cleaning pads are completely clean and flat against the glass, unfortunately, these robots work best on flat, frameless glass. If your windows have bevels or chamfered frames like yours do, the device may simply not be suitable for your specific application."
So, why is this not on the website? I would have never ordered the device. But it gets better. Trying to get a return started and a refund, I eventually am given an address in the United Kingdom - my device was shipped from CA. They wrote, "Please note that we do not provide return labels, and the purchaser is responsible for return shipping costs in accordance with our return policy. This policy helps ensure fair and consistent handling for all customers." Shipping the device back to the UK the cheapest way was TWICE the price of the device. It is an attempt to make me eat the price of a device by their own admission will not work for my windows.

Order took forever. Do not order if you think you might need to return it. Order it from Amazon. It is a UK only return address, over $300! with FedEx. I went back and forth numerous times in an email thread. Finally they gave me a whopping 60% back. BS. I was so mad. I saw on here that one guy didn't get his partial credit, so I will be watching my cc to see, if not I will go through my cc and get a full refund. Be careful. I don't care how well it works, with lack of customer service like this, I will be more diligent to look at return policies in the future. Don't buy this through them. Try Amazon first. I don't know what their return policy is on this particular item.
I can't give Osmo a final grade on its product's effectiveness. But its customer service and return policy were awful.Let me explain. I bought this advice for an older female relative who delights in a clean house and, especially, sparkling windows. The reviews I read of Osmo were great. So, I bought it.However, my aunt, upon opening the gift, blew her top. It was too complicated. It caused anxiety. I apologized and tried to return it, unused. This process proved to be a nightmare. Multiple emails, photographs of the opened box and sealed contents. Back and forth. Offers from them to give me partial credit and keep the item. No, I wanted to return the item and I was willing to pay the freight.Bottom line, you can't sensibly return it. Return is, understandably, at one's own expense, but the return is to the England. Wow! The return may rival the cost of the unit.In the end, I got my money back by filing a complaint through my credit card. The promise Osmo made to me in writing that i would see a return of my funds in 10 days never materialized. Only by filing my complaint with my credit card company and having written proof from Osmo that they would return my money did I get my credit. Again, it may be a great product, but if you should need customer service or, God forbid! need to return it - never used, in its original box - you have a BIG! job on your hands.
Ref Osmo vacuum cleaner. Really not impressed. Poor suction, even on highest setting, which eats the battery power quickly. I have had mine on charge from cold this morning, still only on 70% after 2 hours! Filter blocks up constantly. Not sure if mine isn't working properly or not, would be nice to think so as if this is 100% working order it's incredibly poor. Very sad, had high hopes
Order takes forever to arrive as it comes overseas and has to pass through customs. I ordered where you received a bonus $79 kit for cleaning solution and extra cleaning pads. When I contacted them about the missing bonus items they didn’t even look up my order. Told I received everything that is included in the shipment of the window cleaner. Sent a marked up copy of my purchase and oh…looks there we didn’t send it. So instead of sending the missing item valued at $79 they are giving me a $13 credit to ensure I have a positive experience. Only thing I experienced was gaslighting and bait and switch. Order at your own risk. You e been warned!
Terrible company. DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY!!!Even today they're still advertising the Osmo Dashcam Pro when, apparently, they no longer stock it! They will send you, after payment of course, a different model to that shown on their website and all other outlets. It's a con, a misrepresentation, a fraud. The model they send you will have wires to fit all round the car, contrary to the model depicted. The SD card will be 32GB not 64GB. It won't be rechargeable. It won't take only 2 minutes to fit. Once fitted you won't be able to easily remove it for safekeeping or for use on another car. Once you complain, they will attempt to convince you that it's a superior model that's been sent. Eventually they'll offer 15% partial refund, then a 50% one, ( which I was forced to accept once I realised that I wasn't going to get the model depicted). At one stage they even admitted their mistake offering the correct model. This was quickly followed by contradicting information denying that was the case. DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED.
