Review Time
Ordered a 5 pair collection on 10th December 2024. On checkout I was offered the opportunity to order a second at half price which I took the up on. I received an email on 12th December to let. Me know the order was being dispatched to Royal Mail. I haven’t received any further communication about the order. It seems to have got lost and has not hit the Royal Mail system. I emailed them on the 19th December to ask what was going on and received a spiel about how busy they currently are in their warehouse. Funny how other businesses that I’ve ordered from recently haven able to honour orders within one week Nordic Socks don’t seem to be very good at meeting their order terms of service of 1-5 days for dispatch and their communication is terrible. I feel a small claims County Court order is coming on.
Order 2681Ordered on 10th December, advised 11th December my order was on it's way. 12th December was told my order was on it's way. 17th December told my order was arriving soon. Wednesday - CHRISTMAS DAY received an email for delivery check in, asking how I would rate their product ?!?!?! Erm.......STILL WAITING!!!Still no order, contacted them through their website to chase, received a reply on Monday which seemed to be automatically generated on the 23rd December advising their shipping time is 1-2 weeks. I replied the same day asking for tracking information, received an email which was in my junk folder saying it had been delivered, delivered handed to customer, delivery address states DARTFORD HOME DELIVERY , if this is Dartford in Kent well this is nowhere near were I live. I'm in the North of England. I also didn't realise that the order was being shipped from China!! I would never have ordered if I had known this. I just want a refund at this point and feel I have been scammed!!
I love these socks, I bought my first set in 2020 during covid. Warm and cosy for ganging out at home. They wash really well and my feet don't get sweaty or smell in these. This year I bought a set for my eldest lad who enjoys long walks. He changed into a pair a soon as he opened the gift. My youngest son asked for a pair in 'Gryfindor' colours (gold and bergundy). He's over the moon. I decided to buy some more colours in the thicker socks in the sale and ended up buying another set of the cotton fairweather socks. You can tell the quality buy how they feel, how they wash and how they take up more space in the sock drawer. Long lasting quality.
I placed an order over a week ago, and I still haven’t received any updates—not even a notification about when the package will be shipped. This service is unacceptable. I just hope the socks are good, at least.Response to the reply provided below from Nordic Socks (17/12/24):I expressed my concerns by saying that at this point I would probably cancel the order, because I had ordered Christmas gifts. You replied that you weren’t sure if they would arrive before Christmas. I didn’t have time to respond to the email and you shipped the order anyway. Now it’s been days that I can’t track the shipment because it says tracking is unavailable, and you are not responding to emails. Ridiculous. I don’t think I’ve ever had worse service than this. It is well known that Black Friday discounts are mainly for Christmas gifts, and if a company is not certain it can deliver by Christmas, THEY MUST SAY SO IN ADVANCE, like all companies that specify orders must be placed by a certain date.
