The 'jumper' I received is exactly what I expected after reading reviews post-purchase; it is not knitted but rather a print on polyester mimicking the jumper pattern shown in their pictures. It's unbelievable how little warmth it provides, akin to wearing a polyester shirt. They charged $61.51 or £49.00 instead of the advertised price of £35 for a fake 'knitted wool jumper.' These people are scammers from China, and I recommend avoiding them at all costs.
Zero stars. The items are completely fake. They market themselves as a legitimate Icelandic handmade sweater company, but they are actually a machine-made, 100% polyester company from China. Don't be fooled. I confused them with another company that sells T-shirts. My apologies to the other company for the mix-up.
I ordered an Icelandic hand-knit cardigan and a cashmere sweater. They arrived yesterday, and both are synthetic. The label on the 'cashmere' states '100% Acrylic,' while the other has no label. I've emailed the company but have yet to receive a response. There seems to be no way to return the items, as the packaging is in Chinese.
I wish I had checked reviews before ordering. I saw items advertised as 'Icelandic' in a trusted publication and placed my order. The goods were delayed, but when they eventually arrived, they were not wool, not handmade, and not from Iceland. The sizing is completely inaccurate.
DO NOT ORDER FROM NORRLOOM. My husband placed an order for a Wool Cardigan - GBP48.93 / USD 61.68. Over 2 weeks later he received a 100% Polyester, printed attrocity of a sweat top (for want of a better description). Paid for by PayPal, we reported the scam. However, we are now having to go through a complaint procedure with the Supplier before being reviewed by PayPal. The Supplier did respond - with a pre-formatted excuse, blaming the advertising, packaging and transport!! An ungracious 15% refund was offerred, apparently to demonstrate their legitimacy?? This is a blatant SCAM.
