for Charlotte business:#1 Garage Door LLC was dispatched through my home warranty service to replace a worn garage door opener belt. From the start, their behavior was unprofessional and seemed more focused on upselling unnecessary repairs than addressing the actual issue.They refused to replace the opener belt unless I first agreed to replace my rollers — an unrelated and unnecessary step. When I declined their overpriced recommendations (which were nearly three times what others quoted), they falsely reported to my home warranty company that I refused service, and my claim was abruptly cancelled.The technician was rude, dismissive, and clearly uninterested in helping once I declined the upsell. It felt like a setup to either overcharge or cancel the job altogether.This company is not trustworthy. If you're looking for honest and professional service, stay far away from #1 Garage Door LLC. They are not there to help — they are there to take advantage.
The text messaging system was great for confirming the appointment and communicating when our provider was on the way. Tyler was professional and helpful in resolving the issue preventing our garage door from functioning properly. We suspected the logic board needed to be replaced, and expected to have to wait for parts to be ordered. He had the parts on hand, so evertlything was working properly right away. I appreciated that he took the time to re-pair our remotes and point out helpful maintenance tips. Great service!
Cody was exceptional. We had a garage door spring break. Cody explained what he would do, plus added a second spring I requested. I also had him install a door opener on a single door too. After all that he explained maintenance to do to both doors to increase their life. Possibly the best service call I’ve ever had for home repairs. Grateful for all he did and information shared.
