I bought the sauna and cold tub combo. Cold tub is fine. I’m on my 2nd steam generator and it is broken once again. The first steam generator I received blew a fuse the first time I plugged it in. This second one worked for a month and then stopped working on me. The sauna is basically a soft shell covering with cheap materials and the steam maker looks like a counterfeit Chinese product that would cost $5 to make. Go with the cold tub, not the sauna.
Really enjoying the sauna. 3 months in and couldn’t be happier with the product. Heats up quick and works exactly as advertised. Had an issue with shipping where the boiler was damaged and 3 poles missing. I messaged Nurecover and they immediately sent a replacement with no issues or fuss. Great customer service for damages they had no control over.
I have gotten the red light sauna, ice tub and red light cupping machine. All great products and use on a weekly basis. 40 years old now so recovery is very important to me bc I train 6 days a week. Haven’t felt better
I have been really delighted with the product and both the sauna and the cold plunge pool have completely transformed my morning routine, just amazing. I was also impressed with the companies quick and professional advice when I made an inquiry , well done
UPDATE: Even though my initial thoughts still remain, the company has done a good job with communication and trying to make things right. For example, after the lid to my steamer broke, they immediately sent a replacement. I have had an overall positive experience with NuRecover, they just need to work on their transparency and product quality. The Good: I purchased the NuRecover Tropical Sauna with red light. I received the sauna tent, steam machine and free ice bath promptly as they shipped from a US location. I did not receive the red light addition. I contacted support who were prompt to inform me that the lights had been shipped separately from China and provided me a tracking number. The Sauna tent itself is easy to assemble, lightweight, and serves its purpose very well. The free chair that was included is also more than sufficient for me at 5'10, 185lbs.The Bad: While I did receive the red light addition, I was informed by support that I would have to purchase clips to attach the lights to the pvc frame and they would reimburse me. I have yet to receive that reimbursement despite following all requirements. The lights themselves are more than likely the advertised wavelength and I don't have the proper equipment to prove otherwise. However, they are a direct ship, AliExpress LED light strip that is battery operated. While they do produce "red light" and help light up the inside of the sauna tent, their lack of power will not provide the intended "red light therapy". Skip that addition and go with another option. While the steam generator does produce steam and can get the tent up to 109F at 83% humidity, it has a huge flaw in that it cannot be turned off unless unplugged. If you merely turn off the power switch, the machine will continue to heat up until all the water completely boils out and potentially causes damage to the machine. You must unplug in after every use.In Conclusion: TLDR, skip the red light and be careful with the steam generator. The tent itself is very functional and worth the price. Customer support has been good but had all information been transparent in the beginning, support would not have been necessary.
