I wouldn't mind giving zero stars if there is one. My child's passport was sent from DIA. The driver brought it home on a Tuesday morning while we were all at work. I expect to pick it up at their collection center on the following. Unfortunately, NZ Post claimed they couldn't locate this passport after numerous calls over the past week.
I don't think the drivers read any delivery instructions. What are they there for if they don't intend reading them!! I clearly leave instructions every time and my parcels are always left at my neighbours!
Day 1 - The item was not collected. Day 2 - I called at 8:20 am and was promised it would be picked up. I followed up at 4:30 pm and was assured again it would be collected on Day 3 after 2:00 pm. Day 3 - I called at 4:33 pm and was told I needed to take the item to the local postal service and arrange for a delivery label myself. This process was a complete waste of time; I could have walked the item there and back in that timeframe. This is disappointing for a delivery fee of $8.46.
I would give zero stars if possible. I ordered a parcel two weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived. I contacted the support team to find out what was happening, and they repeatedly said the parcel was out for delivery, yet it hadn't even been picked up. This is unbelievable; I've never encountered issues like this with any other delivery service. I would recommend looking elsewhere, as this has been a complete waste of time. Thanks for nothing.
I am extremely disappointed with the service, as many others have also noted. I waited 3-4 weeks for a letter that never arrived. I had to cancel my card and request a replacement. This isn't the first time I have encountered issues with them; I've had numerous problems over the years with lost packages. It seems they don't prioritize customer care or take responsibility for their mistakes. In my opinion, they should either improve their practices significantly or reconsider their operations.

The service has caused significant frustration and has resulted in lost time and income. My parcel was scheduled for delivery on Friday, but it was redirected due to my new address not being on maps. In good faith, I reached out to customer support and was assured that someone would contact me on Saturday to resolve the issue. However, the service is unavailable on Saturdays, making that promise meaningless — and no call ever came.
After multiple follow-ups, I finally received emails from a representative in the investigations team, indicating that the item had been returned to the main depot and that they would “monitor the tracking” and update me once it was scanned.
The communication throughout this process has been inconsistent, slow, and contradictory. I was given assurances that were not fulfilled, and the issue lingered for days with no accountability. In the meantime, I am losing income because of the failure to deliver a time-sensitive parcel.
If promises are made by the staff, they need to be kept. This situation highlights poor internal communication, inadequate customer handling, and a total lack of urgency.
I expect more from a national postal service. This experience has been stressful, preventable, and simply unacceptable.
Completely unreliable service. Earlier this year, they mistakenly delivered my parcel to the wrong house at the end of my street, and it took about a month to get it back. This time, it seemed promising when it arrived in Wellington and was dispatched with a courier at 9:30 AM on Friday. However, after waiting all day, it never showed up. By 7:08 PM, the status changed to ready for courier. It was out all day without delivery, and now I have to wait until next week because the courier failed to deliver it. I was hoping to install a car part over the weekend. Absolutely frustrating experience.
Avoid this app; it simply doesn't function. The company is quick to charge your card but fails to deliver a prepaid label. The claims made by their so-called support team about processing refunds within 7 days are false and never happen. Honestly, the regulatory authority should consider shutting them down or at least take action against their unacceptable business practices.
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING POSTAL SERVICE I sent a parcel to the USA on November 12th and inquired today, December 1st, because it is still in New Zealand. I was informed it is being returned to me. Why is that? I received no communication regarding this issue. This experience has been a complete mess, and I will never use this postal service again.
