There is an update below this post which is the reason why i have changed the rating from 1 star to 4 star.Whoever is planning to purchase mobile insurance, please don't go with OneAssist .Go with Samsung care or I care for their phones.They give a two year coverage One assist only gives you one year of coverage and they guarantee you ,you can renew after one year.But when the time comes ,they give you one excuse or another not to renew.And the complaint agent one Mr Saeed had an explanation..He was sorry the agent who initiated the plan told me I could renew it.UPDATE.One miss Zeba had contacted me after i gave this review, and she did a good job in escalating the issue and giving me a renewal
My experience with this company has been extremely negative. I purchased their 2-year Total Protection plan for Accidental & Liquid damage. On February 15th, my MacBook accidentally fell while I was working, resulting in scratches when I opened the lid. I reached out to them to file a claim as the damage was covered under their accidental protection. However, upon filling out their claim form, I began receiving multiple calls from them stating various reasons why my claim was being rejected, including the claim that the accident wasn't caused by an external force. Despite their attempts to deny my claim, I fail to understand how an external force would be involved in such an accident. I have decided not to purchase insurance from them for any of my devices in the future, and I strongly advise others to do the same. Furthermore, I intend to take legal action against their fraudulent practices by filing a case in the consumer court.
I have purchased 2 yrs extended ADP warranty on my HP laptop bought on 26 jan 2023. Now on expiry of an year, on expiry of my original HP warranty, having issues with RAM and display. When I called and inquired they say that it doesn't cover hardware and manufacturing defects and that it only covers liquid and accidental damages. Such a scam!! 5.4k is a waste now. HP ppl are like we don't support any 3rd party warranties! Wht the hell should the buyer do ?
