After leaving a negative review two months ago and waiting four months for the initial installation, the job was only partially completed. The second part of the installation, which was meant to take place three weeks ago, could not proceed because the wrong frames were supplied—the colour was incorrect, and the measurements for the retractable screens were also wrong.
Despite informing OneSolomons that I would be away toward the end of March, they still scheduled an installation date that did not work for me. I requested that the installation be brought forward by a day or two, or scheduled earlier, but was told this was not possible. After waiting six months, they were unable to make even a small adjustment to the schedule, yet payment deadlines remain strictly enforced.
I would never choose OneSolomons again. They will likely respond by saying my order was custom-made, but a six‑month delay is completely unreasonable. Promises should not be made if they cannot be fulfilled.
I regret not going with SP Screens, who were realistic and transparent from the start. I chose OneSolomons to save a few hundred dollars, but I have ended up paying far more in stress. What I requested to be completed before Christmas, in preparation for Christmas events, is still unfinished and we are now approaching Easter in the new year.
I would strongly recommend choosing SP Screens over OneSolomons.

Had 2 security doors installed.... after a few weeks one door will not close so we can't lock it ! Submit a service request....no reply ...rang and left message because recording said too busy ....left 3 messages over 3 days... No reply.Rang again , couldn't get through again so I rang new sales and got through straight away and spoke to a lady and she said that the service team would call me back in a couple of minutes......40 minutes later I rang back and was told service team had finished for the day! I then asked if I could speak to a manager or supervisor and was told at 3:30 that manager was on a call and that he would call me at 5pm when he was finished...it is 5:55 and NO call !!I have never in my life had such disgraceful customer service.... They do not deserve even one star 👎
Paul Bremner visited us today to give a quote for outside patio shutters. Paul has previously quoted for shutters and screens for our home several years ago, and we found Paul to be very knowledgeable. He provides an excellent service, and we would recommend Paul to anyone who wishes to purchase shutters, screens or blinds.
We had all windows in a 2 storey house fitted with security screens. $16k job. Marginally cheaper than other well known brands. Our issue was multiple install and finish issues that were eventually sorted by One Solomon, but shouldn’t have occurred to start with. Also difficult/slow to get them to return your calls or emails when you have an issue. Should have been a simple stress free transaction but took months and multiple trips back to get sorted.
Zipscreen blind, great product, shame about the sales team.Sales person came round, we measured up, and we decided what we wanted and received a quote.We then received the quote via email and asked to approve, as the total figure was the same we approved and paid half of the quote.We then arranged an appointment for the fitting.Three days before the fitting the sales team informed us that we had approved the wrong quote; we only received the one, and that the quote, which they then sent, should be accepted and was for approximately $750 more as the width of the blind in quote one was approx. 1500cm short of what was required.• We only ever received the one quote• We only ever requested a 4mtr blindSo due to the error (incompetence) of the sales team we had to pay approximately $750 more than we were quoted and never received an apology.
Our experience was excellent from the beginning with the advice and quotation from Paul, through the communication about the manufacture timeframe and scheduling to the installation. Michael did a great job with the installation of our security screens, and we are very happy with the finished product.
Sadly my dealings with this company started out well but very quickly descended into sheer incompetence.I was not given a sample or record of the colours I had chosen. I chose two but only one was delivered.I ordered three blinds for one room but only two were quoted on.Two men came at seperate times to measure so that everything was accurate, the blinds still didn't fit when they arrived.I advised the installer that there should be nine cream blinds and one grey.He just went ahead and installed the lot without checking. The blinds delivered were all grey.Afterwards they denied all responsibility and it was my job to check their work via an extremely convoluted quote that was impossible to decipher on a small screen.This wasn't the cheapest quote I had but I now wish I had chosen another company.
