We purchased turf as guided by the website that was suitable for dogs iy stated Rye Gold, we layed the turf within 4 weeks the urine from the dogs burnt the grass causing patching. I reported the problem as I was not entirely satisfied. I received a customer service response advising. "dilute the area with water each time your dog urinates to prevent the lawn from burning or investing in a purpose built urine neutriliser" i was then advised "we recomend overseeding the affected areas with a seed that contains Perennial Ryegrass and Fescue."This is 4 weeks old grass lawn and not once was any mention on the website that the grass is not suitable for dogs on the contrary. Under the Statutory rights the consumer rights act 2015 include consumer protection, refunds and returns, lefal guarantees and data protection. 30 days from.laying the grass we have a product that look appalling placing a complaint i received A care guide which was dismissive now attempt to put things right only attempt to sell further products. My previous property I never had to water dog urine down and was lush green. WARNING. buy turns and expect to reseed after 4 weeks what was the point of buying turns in the first place ! I will.be taking and reporting to trading standards due to the dismissive response.....
Ordered sat delivered wed could have had Tuesday but weather looked good for this day delivered late morning 35 rolls on pallet on to drive. Turf was in perfect condition laid same day. I managed to lay it my self but best to have some help if you are 68 like me. It says rolls weigh about 15 kilos but I reckon more like 20 kilos due to wet weather. Grass is really dense and bright green puts the rest of my lawn to shame. Thank you north west turf for brilliant service
They delivered early in the year before the local people would,the turf was great, I made a mistake when ordering and they were more than helpful to rectify and quickly added another roll to more order before the lorry left. A few weeks on its growing well and looks like ill have to start mowing
