DO NOT CONSIGN YOUR RV WITH THEM

DO NOT CONSIGN YOUR RV WITH THEM! Horrible Business... When I consigned an RV to them, they suggested an initial sale price and said it was "highly sought after and easily sell within a few weeks". Once the consignment contract was signed they went silent. Two months later corporate sent me a useless 'update' email to introduce themselves in case I have any questions. When asked about activity they said the season is not good for selling (It was listed with them in peak season initially). Toward the end of the 90 day consignment they suggested a 30% reduction in sale price. Then came the worst shyster used car pressure sales call ever - "I have a buyer (at an even lower than 30% discount) but "you have to tell me yes RIGHT NOW!" I hesitated to review options and was told if I don't commit to the sale I'd have to come and pick up the RV immediately. Complete lack of professionalism and despicable customer service.

Went to Lakeland fl to look at trailers…

Went to Lakeland fl to look at trailers advertisedFound one we really liked and proceeded to buy We were never given a breakdown of pricing structure, warranty costs just a totalPrice On collection after being told it would be fully cleaned and checked, the sales associate who sold us the trailer didn’t even acknowledge me found this extremely rude Once home we found no electric, the generator wouldn’t work and the unit hadn’t even been cleaned Cherry on the cake- the tank was full of s*** we had to clean and empty the tanks Called to ask about the issues very limited response no help offered Luckily I am mechanically minded and sorted after a few hours diagnosis Not happy and will not use again

We drove over 2 hours to see a KZ 5th…

We drove over 2 hours to see a KZ 5th wheel that was shown in stock at their Philadelphia location. However after arriving found out that they didn't even carry ANY 5th wheels from KZ at this location, and that they had been complaining to the home office concerning the practice of listing product in stock when in fact, they didn't have any at all. Plus.......they advertised a grand opening event at this location. Huh.....I had to ask if they had another salesperson other than the one I was able to find that was already talking to someone. Saw people around, didn't know if they were salespeople or not, but we were ignored till I asked. You'd think with grand opening that they'd have everyone on deck. Needless to say we were PISSED, and unimpressed. Ended up buying elsewhere. I would NOT recommend this company!

Avoid their Service Department

We took our 2024 Columbus River Ranch in to have several things fixed last month. They did not do most of the work we asked them to perform. However, they claimed to have done much of it and charged us for it. Our oven would not turn on. They claimed to fix that, but did not. Half of our outlets and two out of three air conditioners are not working on our generator. They claimed to fix that, but did not. Our tank sensors are not reading properly. They claimed to fix them, but did not. We asked them to fix the doors on some of the storage compartments, but they did not do anything with them. In addition, they took our power cord off the reel and did not give it back. They claim they don't have it. They did fix the control panel. They also fixed the steps and lubed a slide. All of this took two weeks while we had to stay in motels because our trailer is our home. It also got to the point where I expected to call several times to check on the status, because they usually didn't return phone calls. They were well aware of the fact we are full-time rvers.

What started as a not so good…

What started as a not so good experience quickly turned great when Dominica Castoro took over as our service representative. This young lady is truly a rockstar! If it had not been for her we would have walked away from Optimum RV in Ocala because of all the issues we had. We can’t thank Dominica enough for all her hard work and dedication to ensuring our 5th was 100% before we got there to finally pick it up! She deserves the commission for the sale of our camper plus a bonus for her quality of work. You need to find more like her!

Optimum lies

First of all they lied to us, they claim they ordered a carburetor for our RV, they would call us when it ca.e I , suppose to take 6 weeks, I called at 8 weeks later, they to!d me someone picked it up. We were to take the RV back for them to install it which would take 4 hours. I don't think anyone else has the same name as ours and Optimum would must hand out a carburetor to a stranger. Also they told us they would clean the RV before we picked it up and it wasn't clean. We will never do business with the again. You can't trust what they say!!!

BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE! Soft floors were discovered in our bedroom slide outs when another issue was being fixed by another place. The amount of water it had taken on indicated it had been collecting water for a LONG time. We hadn’t even had it for a year yet. I understand campers have issues but this was an EXPENSIVE camper and at the time only 3 years old. We have tried to get them to help us and it’s appears it’s a game to them. There is never enough proof for them and that it was caused by them, even though the door near the slide outs had water damage when we bought it. We asked at the time about the water damage and no one had an answer but they put in the paperwork (so there is proof) that they would replace it which of course didn’t happen. Now they just keep ignoring that fact even though we have mentioned it more than once.We are not the kind of people who have ever had anything handed to us. We have worked hard for everything we have which honestly isn’t that much. I’ve worked multiple jobs my whole life. So we honestly just want what’s fair.I usually try not to complain but I’ve reached my max. When we got the camper it was supposed to be clean. It was disgusting. There was bird poop, amongst other nastiness, inside the camper. Instead of complaining (which I probably should have) I just cleaned it myself. This situation has taught me to speak up and that is what I’m trying to do.This place makes promises and makes everything look great but don’t believe the lies. Since this situation I have read plenty of reviews and many are complaining of the same problem. Please beware, I would hate for someone else to go through what we have been going through.

They lied in their description

They lied in their description, and after requiring a 5000-dollar deposit I flew 1400 miles to find that they had no dealer prep. The motorhome was filthy and unsafe to drive. As I walked around the, motorhome I found a tire on the unit that had steel cords coming through, the molding was falling off and it was missing the outdoor kitchen in the ad. I asked the manager for a discount because of the issues I described and his response was I am already losing money on this RV. He went on to asked if I had read the disclaimer on their website. Between airfare there and back as well a rental car and meals I am out 3000 dollars. All I can say is avoid this sham operation. I have also emailed their ownership with no response. Run from this place

Disappointing Experience with Optimum…

Disappointing Experience with Optimum RV - Poor Inspection and Repair IssuesI'm writing to share my disappointing experience with Optimum RV. Despite friendly sales associates and promises of a complete inspection, we've been stuck with a lemon of a travel trailer. The issues started with a power problem that delayed our pickup, and we were promised that all the electrical parts would be replaced to fix the issue. However, instead of doing the promised repairs, the technicians simply replaced the battery with one not compatible with travel trailers, providing a temporary fix to get us off the lot. After taking possession, we discovered additional issues that Optimum RV's inspection apparently missed, including:- Major electrical and circuit issues- A non-functional hot water heater- Safety hazards, such as exposed wires and incorrectly installed plumbing fixturesBy doing so, Optimum RV risked our safety on the road and failed to honor their commitments. We've had to pay thousands of dollars for repairs that should have been addressed before we took ownership. When we brought our concerns to Optimum RV's attention, they refused to rectify the issues, citing the "as-is" sale clause. However, this contradicts their earlier promises of repairs and inspections. We're disappointed in Optimum RV's lack of attention to these issues and their failure to stand behind their promises. Until these issues are resolved, I would caution others to carefully consider their purchase decision with Optimum RV.

Bunch of crooks here

Bunch of crooks here. I stopped by to check them out and was shown garbage campers for $8000 I overheard an agent discussing a sale with another customer. He was offering them $3000 for their trade. We happen to be leaving at the same time and the party mentioned above struck up a conversation with me. I was interested in finding out what they were trading. Too make a long story short, I looked at their rig and paid them $8500 cash. They were delighted. The rig was immaculate with only 42,000 miles. I ended up doing some work and upgrades and my I insurance company put a value of $17,000 on it. Optimum is a criminal enterprise, anyone trading in a rv to them needs their head examined.
