Avoid using this company to book collections of pallets. We used them before, but their service this time has been awful. We paid for collection of 9 pallets from the Netherlands to the UK. We advised that the delivery location has accessibility issues, but didn't require a 7.5T vehicle, just a normal 18T lorry. They brought it on a 20m lorry. We received a call from Pallet2Ship who advised they would still make delivery with the lorry to the end of the lane. I told them we had someone on site and i would make my way there too. We had two paid people at the unmanned site for a few hours without the delivery arriving. I emailed the office who advised they had chose to offload it somewhere else and wanted £350~ to redeliver it on a 7.5T vehicle (which it didn't need). We didn't authorise or tell them not to deliver, and had agreed they would pn the 20m lorry. Now they want 215EUR fees for the redirection, offloading and storage. Absolute scam, and we will be taking Tek Move Solutions Ltd to small claims court to recover all additional money we will pay due to their mishandling of this delivery.Response to Pallet2Ship's reply:We’re disappointed but not surprised by this response, which misrepresents the facts and deflects responsibility. We have had more than 20 deliveries by 18T lorries to our site in the last year. These include regular pallet shipments without issue. We even provided a photo of a previous 18T vehicle outside our warehouse to prove this point. The road is tight, but perfectly manageable for any competent driver in a standard lorry. We did not request a 7.5T vehicle at any stage. We ticked the “restricted access” box at the time of booking, as advised by Pallet2Ship’s own system. That flag should have triggered their team to ensure a suitable vehicle was used. Instead, they sent a 20m+ double-height vehicle, which we never requested. When we spoke to their team on the phone, they confirmed the driver would still deliver, park at the top of the lane, and use the taillift to offload. Based on this assurance, two members of staff attended the site - but no delivery ever arrived. We were never told the delivery was cancelled. We only found out after chasing them via email, at which point they said the consignment had been diverted without our consent, offloaded to a third-party depot, and that we would now need to pay £350 for re-delivery or €215 in storage and redirection fees.We have all of this recorded, including two phone calls where their staff acknowledged fault, agreed we were not liable for the aborted delivery, and confirmed we were within our rights to pursue reimbursement via Money Claim Online against Tek Move Solutions Ltd (their legal entity). This has been an incredibly frustrating experience involving lost time, added costs, and serious disruption to our business - all of which stemmed from Pallet2Ship’s failure to act on the information we provided and their refusal to accept responsibility for their own mismanagement. We are now arranging collection ourselves and will be pursuing full recovery of all costs, including court fees, through the appropriate legal channels.
We shipped a pallet of tyres and were notified on day of delivery that:"Please note the pallet was not strapped and dangerous to be transported. The depot has decided to re-wrap this and split it into 2 separate pallets."We were then billed an extra £133 (ontop of the £100 odd already paid)A few issues here:1) The pallet was absolutely fine when it left us including in the photo we sent that they requested2) IF the pallet did indeed require "strapping" then why not charge us an admin/strap fee and strap them? Instead it's split across two pallets with a massive billFirst and last time using them
Final Updated Review: I booked a business-to-business shipment from GB to Northern Ireland through Pallet2Ship. After payment, I was asked to generate a commercial invoice — at that point, the system requested a TSS and EORI number. Since I didn’t have these, I changed the receiver to “Private Individual” — which the system allowed without flagging any issue.Pallet2Ship later emailed to say the service wasn’t valid unless I paid £197.57 + VAT for an alternative. I requested a refund, as the original service couldn’t be fulfilled. They refused, citing a 40% cancellation fee. This wasn’t a change of mind — it was a non-fulfilment due to system flaws. At no point before payment was there any validation warning, or restriction based on address type or missing TSS/EORI.Their replies were dismissive and lacked any accountability. They only increased their refund offer after I posted this review. No phone calls were received despite them claiming multiple attempts — they used a storage facility number, not my personal number which was on the commercial invoice.I’ve used them 3 times previously, but never again. I’ve submitted a chargeback and provided full documentation, including evidence that the booking flow enables invalid orders. Also worth noting: Trustpilot has flagged this company for potentially using unsupported methods to collect reviews.A poorly designed system, poor customer service, and a company unwilling to own its mistakes.Pallet2Ship continues to misrepresent this situation. Their system allowed a business-only service to be booked and paid for without flagging any eligibility issues or collecting required customs info. If the recipient being a private individual was disqualifying, the platform should’ve blocked the booking — not accepted payment and later demand £197 more. This whole dispute is over £35. They’ve already offered £138 back.
First time I used pallet2ship and everything worked well. Price is reasonable and my seller received all items in the parcel intact. I used Forted to deliver the pallet in the end. Customer service at pallet2ship was good.
