Extortionate ticket prices: £240 for a family of 4 (one of which is disabled and another a carer). To get any sort of meagre discount (50% off carer ticket) you need to have a paid for specific disability card and use it weeks in advance. The blue badge and dla letter is accepted everywhere else but Paulton's make you use a paid for service first and far ahead of visit.Had the disability queue thing so you have to queue less, however, when you go to the ride exit (as instructed) to get on only 1 out of all the rides did an operator come to us - every other one we had to go to and get their attention. In addition the attitude of several were poor, at least one ride was out of order, another the lift was broken so inaccessible, other rides our disabled child wasn't allowed on with a carer and we were told they either rode alone (they can't - they are disabled) or not at all so disappointment there too.The quality of the food is terrible and hugely overpriced (even by themepark standards). The 'games' dotted around like hook a duck and the near impossible throw the ball in the bucket & basketball in the hoop were also massively overpriced. This was the first time we we visited Paulton's Park (including Peppa Pig world) and there is no chance we will ever be returning.Unfortunately, they are definitely not disability friendly in our experience and is also ruined by sheer greed on the part of the owners. One to avoid.
We all had lots of fun at Paultons park, especially my 2 year old and 5 year old at Peppa pig world. The park is so clean and readily available toilets at multiple sites.Such a variety of things to do including water parks, animal attractions, play parks, soft play, theme park rides etc
We have brought our daughter and her cousins to Paultons Park several times. The park is always spotless, the facilities immaculate, and ride times short. Unlike some other parks, the team seem really well trained, and want to turn the rides fast to keep everyone excited and entertained. We rode over 20 rides on our visit, and compared that to 7 at our last theme park visit, it’s a huge difference. The choice of rides is really exciting from the traditional, to the thrill seeking, and we love coming back time after time. Can’t wait to see the new Vikings area that is under construction
What an amazing day out! I really didn’t have high expectations after disappointing visits to other theme parks, but the whole day was great. It is pricey, but unlike other places where you begrudge the expense as you have little but hours in queues as the lasting memory, I left the park feeling really happy at a day well spent. As my child is very young, we spent most of the day at Peppa Pig World, but there’s so much to do and my little one was entertained the whole day. Definitely would have taken up the two day offer, but already had plans for the next day. The staff were all so friendly and helpful- always ready with a little patter and a smile (which must be hard to sustain for a whole day). I want to give a special mention to Mark at Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing club towards the end of the day who was so sweet and thoughtful with my daughter. Already looking forward to visiting again.
This was the first time visiting but we will definitely be back, food was decent in daddy pig's cafe and surprisingly cheaper than what we were expecting, the children absolutely loved it and there was so much to do, I'd recommend doing two days with young children as we barely got to see everything there was to see.
