I was the victim of a Romance scam.Payback promised that they would be able to get my funds recovered as they had all the resources and close contact with all the major institutions to get this done. They only approached three institutions and I got an email today that they have given up, that they are closing my case.I wish there was a true picture of Payback on their website and I wish their adverts didn't lie about their true efforts which is they give up on their clients when they wish. Anyone reading this review - please do not select Payback they wont fight your case until the end. They give up when they wish.DO NOT SELECT THEM AS YOUR LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE.
Total SCAM! All of them are liars. They will just make you believe they will help you but they will just wait until the contract ends. They are all heartless people taking advantage of scam victims like myself. DONT TRUST THEM. They handled my case for more than a year and nothing happened. I just wasted my money. I regret paying them.
Do NOT use this company. Hadar and her team along with owners and supervisors are all a BIG scam. I engaged and paid for services over 18 months ago. They will copy and paste letters they have already used from oast customers onky to show they are qorking on your fule. From the start they will make you feel like they will retrieve funds but it's all a big fulse scam. Do not use this company. Most of the work is trying to get letters to financial institutions to demand funds. They also promised to track all transactions. I have given them every single piece of data and info that existed from there request as they said with that info it would help and be very favorable to get back the funds. They didn't do any of this. They are scanners worst than anything I have seen. Next is putting an charge against them and have them in jail. Because that's where they all belong. Dont get scamed by them. You will regret it.
I hired them after being scammed.. after a year long process they emailed me saying there's nothing they can do. I payed them 1st half of payment in the beginning and wrote a review of how protected I felt. After everything I went through o feel like I got scammed by them. I am taking my losses and want to warn people about this company. I'm VERY disappointed!!!!
Don't trust their promises that they can help you get your money back. They just want your 10% of the money you have lost and in the end they will tell you they are closing your case because they cannot do anything. If you have been scammed, just move on and don't try to get scammed twice especially this company PAYBACK who gives you false hope. They are very good at the start sending you emails here and there just to make you believe that they're doing something but slowly they'll disappear. They'll tell you their updating their security system and cannot be contacted but that's their way of exiting slowly. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!
Complete scam company, nothing less then scammers behind the scam. stay away from this company, if need any prove just reach out and i can prove it to you guys..... NEVER, EVER GIVE ANY OF YOUR MONEY TO THEM. UNLESS THEY RECOVER YOUR MONEY FIRST AND YOU PAY AFTER. REAL BS COMPANY.
This company is a scam!!! Don’t throw good money after bad. Take your money and take a cruise, shop, or invest in the actual stock market. They promise you the moon and deliver a lump of coal. They are the same quality of people that stole from me. After over a year of writing letters nothing happened.
I was the victim of a scam and lost a large sum of money. I came across payback and it actually sounded legit. They said all the right things and said they had a legal team, lawyers and investigators and I gave them thousands of dollars to help me retrieve my money. They were initially very responsive and would send me (poorly written) letters to send to the various financial institutions involved in the scam, basically just requesting that they give me my money back out of the goodness of their hearts. It would take months to receive the next letter or take further action. Suddenly, they stopped responding to my emails and didn’t follow through on the next steps they had outlined. And abruptly, I received an email stating that they were closing my case. No explanation. No phone call. No response to my request for information about why we weren’t taking all the next steps they said we still had in our toolbox. Just took my money and disappeared. Don’t waste more of your money. It’s just another company taking advantage of our desperation.
Got scammed 2023, Since then their "team" would effortly try to recover the amount of 95.000 $ . After tons of emails forth and back , templates to get get filled , managers that got replaced , i got a nice email , with a nice text saying , well there isnt anything we can do and we close your case. As you shall know they recieved in front 10.000€ to get into that case in the first place. Now my logic is asking me .. since they got payed and they didnt delivered even 1 cent , how moraly is it to keep the money that i payed. So , dont trust this type of companies , they arent able to help you out . To sad to see people making profit from others pain . Stay away my concusion and be careful .
