Payback have had my case since 2021. The person who took, my case on, left, and suddenly the emails stopped. Then they hire another person and months later they reach out to begin the investigation again. This cycle has repeated a number of times and they sent me some screen shots of 'research' they did, but then they said they have exhausted all avenues, then started to follow the exact same playbook from the beginning. Don't waste your money and don't transfer funds to anyone who you can't see, speak to or trust. Update 04/22/2025...They have responded on trust pilot, yet have not reached out to me, I have had to chase every step of the way, they are not making any progress. I stand by my review. Don't give payback any of your money. Keep your money safe. These guys are NOT proactive, they change their staff every few days (another red flag) and have gotten no where. I want a refund from this scam. I've been asking for a refund for 4 years. My advise is charge back these fees if you have suffered the same issue.
I am legitimately so confused by this company. I was contacted by them as I submitted information regarding a scam I was involved in to the FCA in January 2025. I was sent a contract and told I needed to pay a fee in order to do the investigation because apparently my funds were in Thailand. I didn't pay because I thought that was suspicious. That was January. We're now in March 2025, and I was contacted by them saying they have found my money and they just need me to do this one thing for them to be able to send the money from one wallet to the next. Binance doesn't allow for the funds to be transferred from the other wallet to Binance. They haven't asked me to pay a cent as of yet but said they'll take a commission at the end of it all.... does this make any sense to anyone or is it just me that's confused AF
You are very good at keeping in touch and informing and following up on the procedures.And you are very concerned that I am doing well.Regardless of the outcome of this case, I have had a great experience with information and understanding.

They called out of the blue to say they have recovered my stolen fubdd and asked to screen share to deposit in my account 😱 when asked why not just take my ac details up deposit , they said no can’t do that ! When mentioned I will call FCA to check if legitimate company before going any further, they put the phone down
My experience with payback is that I am very satisfied with their approach. They work hard to your case and discuss whether you agree with their impressively written letters.you have to have a lot of patience in this kind of case,but there is regular contact via email or phone.I would definitely recommend them if you are in this kind of situation.
My first person of contact was David Haim he was very compassionate and supportive about the situation, he asked me which crypto currency was used in my case it was ETH. He led me to a website where I could enter wallet address and see all transactions including transaction IDs. Straight away I could see that money was taken out on the same day it was sent to the wallet. David provided me with a lot of useful information, explained all the process step by step, I get updates every week. After few months Maya Dolinsky took over the case and I can't praise both of them enough. It's a long and complicated process but I feel their support and step by step we are progressing towards our goal. Highly recommend their services.
