The ongoing issue with Perry Ellis is the actual stock availability on items listed for sale. I try to do ordering so that I take advantage of free shipping. In my last order, I ordered $120 more than the amount needed to get free shipping, but ended up with only two out of 5 items that were listed as being in stock. If you could roll out a system that stated what the stock level was by size and colour when they are listed as in stock, it would be greatly appreciated I am sure and make for better sales too!
Order three shirts. Two arrived correct and one was wrong. Emailed them and got an automated AI response, that's not very customer service focused.I then get an email back asking what shirt was missing, I had already provided that information but gave it again.They then ghosted me until I wrote another email asking for them to send me the proper shirt. I then received a response that they have refunded me for the missing shirt. This was not what I asked for.I emailed back saying I would like a replacement shirt sent out asap. They responded back telling me to place a new order for it if I wanted the shirt. So they were going to make me fix their mistake and also spend additional money on shipping to get the shirt that I originally ordered that they didn't send! They now refuse to do anything else.Piss poor customer service and job in making sure their customers receive the correct items and have a pleasant customer experience. Will be looking elsewhere for clothes as they do not care about their customers and only care about making money.
Wow I wish I had checked here first. What a terrible experience. I ordered from Perry Ellis with a banner that said "free shipping to Canada" and provided pricing in Canadian $. The returns section did not say shipping would be charged for returns. My order also had NO OPTION at checkout for free shipping even though my order was $300 - when I emailed customer service explaining that I selecting standard $25 shipping that should be free, instead of $42 express shipping, they said "sorry we could not help you you selected express" - which I did not! Then replied asking me how they could improve their checkout service in future!?!?!? Um have your checkout show what you advertise?! How about that! Then for goods that were apparently 70% off they arrived with the ticket prices (not sale tags) showing prices CONSIDERABLY lower than the list prices on the website (and not at a US to CAD conversion rate either) incredibly lower, so my sale price was literally a 7% discount for the shirts and 30% for a jacket instead of 70% from $399 fake list price, and $170 fake list price. The goods also arrived poorly packaged. Then the surprise when I went to return them I had to navigate to a different return area after being told "we are not accepting returns from your country" to an area that finally would process the return but I had to pay $33 for shipping!!! What a major disappointment. Looks like online shopping is failing badly and we will get to return to our bricks and mortar stores in future - which I love anyway. This was my third disastrous online shipping experience in a row.
Absolutely rubbish firm ordered through John Lewis as one of there Suppliers delivered the incorrect size ordered 2 large track bottoms and got small was re sent out again and yes they they promptly sent another 2 small track suit bottoms now in the process of returning these and asking for money to be refunded. Please John Lewis ditch this supplier they are giving you a bad name.
