Review Time
Very poor service. I ordered a suit and the jacket and pants were shipped from two different locations. I received the pants, but the jacket never left the warehouse. After three days I contacted customer service via chat (by the way there is no number to talk to someone), and then kept telling me I needed to wait 7 days for them to take action. After days and days, the item never moved and FedEx never had the package. After 7 days, I contacted Perry Ellis and they said they had no more jackets my size. I contacted Perry Ellis every other day and they kept telling me I had to wait 7 days, all this time they knew by the tracking that FedEx never had the package yet. I contacted FedEx and they said they did not have the package and Perry Ellis never scheduled a pick up. Perry Ellis kept telling me the package was sent, so someone is not being truthful. Now I was stuck with the pants and no jacket. Had they taken care of it sooner, they could have send me another jacket. I kept going back and forth between Perry Ellis and FedEx which is something they should have done and not leave that up to the customer. As of today 10/07/24 tracking still shows "package has not left the facility" since 09/29/24. Very poor practices. Do not buy from Perry Ellis unless you are willing to gamble and hope you get your product.
Perry ellis is one of my favorite brand and I loved their portfolio collection. It's sad to see that Perry ellis is gotten worse over the period. Their online shopping site is misleading and scamming the customes, the price point differ from shopping cart to checkout. Product price also reflect different during browsing. TTheir customer service is pathetic. Be aware and avoid online shopping if you're outside of U.S.
Bought 2 packs of Perry Hellis underwear that stated cotton as the main tittle. To my surprise, when it came in, it was actually 98% poly and 2% spandex. Hey, maybe I should have read the fine prints and picked the wrong one. Asked for a return/refund/exchange.. they told me that they felt sorry for myself. Now, they won't even answer my emails.Very disappointing
Their return process is extremely difficult. Must request return, get RMA Ship back. For order new items..pay again, email both documents for both orders, wait for email reply. And hope for price adjustment and shipping fee refund. No phone number no live chat. Most frustrating experience ever.they can do better.
While looking for a tuxedo for my wedding about one month before the date, I found a great looking jacket at the Perry Ellis store. However the store did not have the matching pants. So I figured I purchase it online. Sales rep in the store helped me find the correct item and checked that it was in stock. So I made the purchase right there and then. About a week later I receive an email saying the order was cancelled without any explanation. After logging on the site to chat with a rep they said their inventory was having a problem and that item was actually out of stock. That they would refund me. That's it! No solution. No alternative tuxedo. Nothing! Just that I should check to see when they have it back in stock. I now have a little over two weeks to find a new tuxedo for my wedding because I trusted Perry Ellis online store to be on top of their game. Clearly they are not!
Perry Ellis has always been a firm favourite of mine over the years because of the quality of the clothes and efficiency of delivery. Sadly this is no longer the case as the standards have dropped dramatically lately.Apart from the lower quality garments they now display on their website they fail to keep track of their stock levels adequately so if you do place an order online you will be lucky to get 10% of that order sent to you and what you do get are so creased it looks like it’s been laying on the shop floor for a month. The excuses Perry Ellis give are,The unfulfilled items on your order were out of stock at the time of purchase and were cancelled by our warehouse. Usually when this occurs you are automatically notified and refunded, but unfortunately your order experienced a system error.We apologize for the inconvenience.Despite stating the items are out of stock they continue to show the items in stock on their site to this day.I suspect the real reason they are not sent is a combination of poor logistics or if you use too many voucher codes they simply refuse to honour the sale.So disappointing to see the brand slide like this. I will look elsewhere from now on.
