Apparently I made an account with this website years ago. Between 1st august and yesterday they have sent me emails fortnightly saying my account will be deactivated as they don’t have free accounts any more, and that I would lose my photos. I decided to log in last night to find that even looking at what is in there is behind a paywall. I discovered by using a free trial that I actually had no photos in my account to lose if my account got deactivated. This is an appalling business model, as if you didn’t know about the free trial you’d be stuck paying $5 a month.
