Absolutely unacceptable service.Posten failed to contact me despite my full name and correct contact details being clearly mentioned on the letter. There was no phone call, no message, no attempt whatsoever to reach me.Instead of doing their basic job, they simply returned the item and are now saying I have to pay the full fees again to resend it. Why should I pay again for your failure?This is beyond frustrating and completely ridiculous. Customers should not be punished for Posten’s incompetence and lack of effort. If contacting the recipient is too much to expect, then what exactly is this service for?Extremely disappointed. Waste of time, money, and patience. 👎
My family sent me a package from Norway to the U.S. on december 4th. Posten managed to send my package from Bergen to Oslo and then to Alta instead of the U.S. I still haven’t received the package and it will not make it for Christmas even though it is almost 20 days since they sent it! They were contacts but even though this mistake is on them, they cannot help fixing it. They don’t even try. This has ruined Christmas because they sent my package to the very North of Norway instead of the U.S., which should be an impossible mistake to do.
A parcel was delivered to wrong post office in shop. I tried to complain, but met several difficulties both from posten.no and the shop (where the post office was). I was only able to chat or talk to AI-assistent, almost impossible to talk to a real person. It tok me several days to get a real contact. They promised to send the parcel to «my» post office in shop, but it never arrived. The day after my personal contact with somebody at posten.no I got the news that posten.no already had sent back my parcel from Norway to Spain. So I had to contact the seller and ask for a new delivery. They sent the new parcel the same day, and now I am already waiting again
I had a package that was supposed to arrive Monday, it was delayed to Friday.Now it's Friday and they rang the doorbell, But they drove away within 2 minutes, wrote to support for an hour and they had told me they sent my package to the town over, because they couldn't leave it by the door, while they left the previous package by the door from the same seller. Support kept telling me to go to the next town for the pickup point (for context pickup point as mentioned is one town over and it's 30m by car and 1hr with public transport). I wrote with chat for an hour that led nowhere, then I called support, waited another 20 mins with under 10m conversation that also led nowhere. Posten is by far the worst postal service I have ever experienced and dehumanizing me like this and waste time and energy is not only unnecessary and unacceptable.
I ordered a package as a foreigner from another country and Jesus Christ. I had to write 4 emails, couldnt make a user profile for 4 days, then had to get a tax number and now it still doesn't accept that. How unnecessarily complicated can a process be? If I had known that beforehand I would have never ordered.
