The Wanganui Opera House has great acoustics and is a smaller more intimate space. The show was fantastic - awesome vocals, musicians and atmosphere - by far the best tribute band we have seen. Bloom has a great voice and we loved the more friendly, relaxed but totally professional nature of the show.Loved it!
I purchased tickets for floor one of the theatre, but I was given ground level instead. Wrote email submitted a form and no reply at allAt the same time, the layout of their website and app, system, and this ‘strict policy’ is very concerning. The refund and exchange policy is terrible
They had Mark Hadlow. Could end the review there. But, to elaborate, he had another amazing set of characters to bring to life! I laughed so hard, I coughed so hard, and I cried so hard. He is such a comic genius. He uses timing, lines, accents, gestures, and just creates the best atmosphere, for all the moods and emotions the show has to offer. He engages with the audience, and makes you feel 'seen' which is amazing, given he has a show to get on with, and get on with it he does! I cannot wait until he brings this show to Palmerston North, and I can see it all again!
