I was looking at tickets, put two into the basket, went to pay, email come through I'd been charged for 4 tickets! I sent a refund email for 2 of them, no response and when I click on the refund option is says dispute closed, baring in mind I even payed for refund cover! no way of contacting them to sort this out! No phone number, no refund even though its the company/websites fault. Really disappointed
The event I attended stated that the tickets were only going to be available via web or the app. I was fine with this and I have used this option in the past. The event also stated that the tickets would be available in the app no later than 3 weeks prior to the event. I hadn't received the tickets online at 3 weeks prior to the event so I downloaded the app only to find that the tickets weren't in there either. The tickets eventually turned up in the app just over a week later.I attempted to share the additional tickets to others who were attending and they received the SMS with the ticket code. Rather stupidly, the only way for them to actually accept the tickets is for them to also download the app and, I presume, set up their own Ticketek account. I cancelled the sharing as a result and we were planning to arrive as a group. On the day of the event and just under 4.25 hours before it actually started, I received an email with the PDF tickets. If this event were being held in my own city this would have been very tight, but still possible to get them printed. Instead, the event was held in a city 4.5 hours drive away and we were already on our way there. There was obviously no ability to be able to print the tickets in such a short period of time.At the event, the first ticket scanned correctly but the others refused to scan. The attendant's scanner claimed that the tickets had already been used. Thankfully we were attending as VIP tickets so they could confirm by name that we had not actually entered the venue. The show itself was fantastic. Ticketek's handling of their ticketing obligations - the major part of their contract - was very poor. I know they have tightened up on actually issuing tickets to prevent scalping, but sending printable tickets only a few hours before a show is just pathetic.
Ticket say they have sent my tickets. When I try and get them this message appears on my phone and my email:Please check back laterThe tickets for your event are not yet availablePlease check back closer to the event dateGo to m.ticketek.co.ukfor more event experiencesThis is unacceptable. Ticketek, possibly the most arrogant company in existence, have taken my money and claim to have sent the tickets but theyu are non-existent. There is no way we can contact these people. So I ask them, through you to sort this out please! Reference: Customer ID: 231979
Trying to apply for a refund for Guns and Roses Wellington. It got rescheduled from 2020. The issue I have is the “help” number is never manned. When I have managed to speak to someone they’ll get back to me- still waiting. Don’t expect any form of customer service after you purchase - and no reply to emails which they suggest is best way to contact them! Have been trying to contact since May 2022!
buying tickets more than 1 week in advance for all blacks / Pumas in Hamilton - crashes to a halt at payment, says my card is blocked (no it isnt) says my other card is blocked (nope). Cant call anyone - offices are closed. I cant recall a time ever being able to buy anything on ticketek without the utmost frustration. what exactly is their $15 fee paying for?
