Prepaid mobile recharge is a fraud company , please do not recharge through this website , I topped up my daughter’s mobile by £5 . And they charged me £49.99 subscription . They have taken the money from my account but it’s now non refundable. Please do not go into this website and recharge the mobile , it’s a fraud company and they cheat the customer service.
I topped up £4.90 with Prepaid Mobile Recharge, thinking it was a one-time payment. However, they later charged £49 per month without clearly showing this fee or asking for my explicit consent.1️⃣ The £49 monthly fee was not clearly listed or shown before payment — it only appears hidden at the very bottom of the page.2️⃣ I never received any billing invoice or confirmation email about the subscription or charge.3️⃣ When I contacted them, there was no real customer support — only an automatic reply saying “no refund after 72 hours.”4️⃣ They completely ignore cancellation and refund requests.⚠️ Please contact your bank immediately, report this as a fraudulent transaction, and request a chargeback.Do not trust this website — it’s misleading and takes money without proper disclosure or consent.Update: 9 Oct 2025 , I luckily requested my bank for a charge back , later I received an email messages from this company confirm a full refund. I hope everyone can get the money back.
I mistakenly thought the website was EE as it’s designed to look like it, so when I bought the top up I couldn’t use it. A few days later they took £49 from me as a subscription, which I categorically did not sign up for. This is fraud and a scam.Avoid at all costs. I’ve cancelled my bank card and now waiting for the bank to hopefully do a charge back to get my money back. Do not use this company they are thieves
My autistic 12yr old daughter topped her phone using this site by mistake. They then went on to take the "subscription fee" of £49 off her meaning she can no longer attend her swim sessions for the next 2 months. I reached out to them and received the following : "Our intention is to ensure transparency in all transactions, and we understand that, in your case, the subscription terms may not have been as clear as they should have been" "To resolve this issue amicably, we would like to offer a partial refund of 20% recent subscription fee as a goodwill gesture. We believe this is a fair resolution, as it reflects our commitment to addressing your concerns while recognizing that the service was still made available to you"I have of course declined their offer, they clearly have no scruples and robbing a 12 yr old who doesn't understand then blaming her for not understanding is disgusting. Great business model though for making money by doing sod all. I'd give 0 stars if it was an option.
