Scam website bout a £5 pound top up was then charged £49 for a subscription that isn't advertised and is added on at the Bottom of the terms of service which you won't see unless you scroll all the way down this site dosnt advertise this also you can't unsubscribe from the site itself you have to contact them it also states a 3 day cool of period when you have a statutory 14 days period
Paid for a £5 EE top up voucher which I received, then they messaged me saying they are taking £49 a month recurring payment!!Absolute SCAM of a company!I've been on phone to my bank fraud team, now all sorted.Just block your card straight away and request new card details that's what I've done so should be ok
i did not sign up to this company for anything! I dont even know who they are. I just happened to be going through my statement and saw transactions for 49.00 coming out. fortunately the card they took payment from is not my bank card and several of the attempts were declined due to insufficient funds. I contacted my card provider and they advised me to contact this dubious company directly, which I did but I cannot get any explanation of what I am supposed to have signed up to. I will try to take this further.a zero star rating would be preferable.
I purchased a one time top up value for £10 but they added me as a monthly service customer without my permission. And no email was sent to inform me about the situation. After I saw the £49 transaction from my bank (Chase), I raised a dispute for a chargeback. Before contacting Chase through an app message to raise a dispute, I emailed the merchant to request a refund and tried to log in to their website to cancel their ‘subscription’. Then, I got the merchant email the next day saying “no refund due to outside free trial period.” The screenshot of the email was given to Chase for evidence. I also changed my card details in order to prevent any further payment to them. Then, I was sent the dispute chargeback money, £49.
I topped up my 96 year old mothers mobile for £20 and authorized that payment to be taken from my account, on checking my account i noted a further £49 had been taken on the basis that I had supposedly signed up for a 3 day trial. I contacted the company to be told that i was out of cancellation time! When i said i had never authorized the extra payment, the reply from the Company Compliance Officer - "Our intention is to ensure transparency in all transactions, and we understand that, in your case, the subscription terms may not have been as clear as they should have been "And offered a 20% refund which is insulting!I would suggest that before using this company you check very carefully how they operate, as i am of reasonable intelligence and was conned into an extra cost.I will do all i can to alert others so they are not put in a similar position.
