While Printify rocks in certain areas there are two that are mediocre at best. Customer service is wildly spotty...sometimes you get a response to a "help ticket" that same day but just as often it's days later or not at all! And many of the responses are canned; pre-written responses that really have little to do with the issue and you have to repeat the request all over again. There's a strong sense that these are WFH folks who aren't REALLY reading the requests but rather choosing "response #32" in the hopes that it makes the user go away. Frankly, I find better and more helpful responses on Reddit or YouTube or user threads...
Love to be able to create designs and products. One small problem is I believe it would help if I could make the letters and words bigger up and down without I affecting it left and right. Thank you, have a good day!
I love the ease of everything and all the information and breakdown on pricing. I don't like how expensive it is for what you get. I don't like that mediocre print shops are allowed to partake as I have received several samples and orders now that have been shipped with huge mistakes. There seems to be a lack of quality control as POD has grown rapidly.
I've been utilizing this service and have found it very convenient with an excellent selection of products. It's user-friendly and straightforward. I suggest ordering samples prior to selling, as quality may differ among providers. All in all, a reliable platform! 👍
As newcomers to the POD industry, we explored various suppliers. We chose this service based on positive reviews and competitive pricing. Initially, everything seemed fine until about a month ago when we discovered that the service had mistakenly sent out one of our items to every customer who placed an order. We managed to cancel around 15 out of 25 orders, but unfortunately, 10 t-shirts with the same design were shipped without our consent, and we were charged for them. Now, nearly four weeks later, despite multiple requests for assistance, we have received no response. Their website indicates they are overwhelmed with inquiries, which is evident. They shipped products worldwide on behalf of clients but seem unsure how to resolve the situation, leaving us out of pocket by $175 USD. It feels like they are hoping we will forget about this issue. We have since switched to another provider and have encountered no problems, aside from a couple of lost parcels that were swiftly replaced. Overall, this service has been inadequate, and they need to improve their customer support instead of ignoring significant issues.
I successfully launched my POD business and received orders, but the fulfilment and support from the service during peak times fell short. Numerous orders faced delays with no clear delivery dates, production times extended far beyond the promised durations, and customer support was mostly unresponsive when issues arose. In many instances, I couldn't obtain any definitive answers. As a seller, this situation left me in a difficult position. I had to issue refunds not due to product quality, but because I couldn't secure reliable information or timelines from the service. This significantly eroded customer trust and forced me to halt my business despite initial positive momentum. I recognize that delays can occur during busy periods, but the lack of communication and support is unacceptable when sellers' reputations are at stake. While the service might perform adequately outside of peak times, during high demand, reliability and support were lacking when they were most needed. I hope they enhance their transparency, response times, and support for sellers, as the platform has great potential, but the current operational risks are too significant.
Customer support has deteriorated significantly. They've automated everything now. Recently, they implemented a policy that automatically deletes products if they aren't sold within a certain timeframe. I reached out to support because this system started removing items I had sold just a month or two ago. This led to a backlog of orders since they were no longer synced, especially around Christmas time. I had to expedite the orders with costly shipping fees. Despite acknowledging that their system caused the issue, they did not refund the extra shipping costs I incurred. I struggled to speak with a human, having to deal with an AI first. The first support representative, midway through our chat, said, 'my shift is ending, I will forward you to another agent.' Can you believe that? Just 15 minutes into my support chat, they left. The second representative reviewed the chat, sent me a generic response stating that support would continue via email, and then left before I could reply.
I appreciate how simple it is to position the design on the shirt. However, I would like to see the transparent background made more visible compared to how it appears on the shirt (similar to another service). Additionally, I wish the placement of the design accurately reflected where it will print. The integration with the platform is fantastic! ⚡ It would be helpful to have a personal touch when all my listings are unpublished, as it can be quite stressful trying to figure out the reason. If the system is automatically unpublishing my listings, it should notify me via email explaining why.
